As a parents we are always extremely happy to see our baby's first teeth! But not many of us know, that actually good dental health should start at the birth.

• After each feeding remember to gently wipe the baby's gums with a soft and clean gauze damped in a cool water or chamomile tea!

How to avoid baby bottle cavities?

Babies teeth cavities are caused by extended nursing of milk, formula or juices, especially at bedtime..

• At bedtime or naptime it's best to give your baby a bottle of plain water

• Feeding bottle shouldn't be a pacifier

• DO NOT deep baby's pacifier in honey or sugar!

When to come for first visit with my baby?

Many experts recommend your baby have first dental visit as soon as first teeth appears.

What if my baby feels anxious?

At our practice it's always top priority that children have Only Good memories after being seen by our dentist.Verena and team. Your baby will also meet Dr Crock- Verena's assistant and our mascot, who loves kid's and gives a great surprises! It's also good to explain your child, why you're both going to the dentist and why it is so important. Try to ease his/her fears and make and an adventure out of it for your kid!

Nutrition is a key for your child's oral health. A healthy lunch and snack should definitely be part of your child's regular eating habits.

A good nutrition program for your child includes:

• Choosing foods from all four food groups

• Avoid sticky, chewy foods!• Serve your child low fat

cheese with lunch or a snack. It helps to produce more saliva, which washes food particles from the teeth.

• Make sure your child drinks more plain water instead of juice or soda- THEY CONTAIN SUGAR!

• Include more calcium in your kid's diet. This will help to build strong and healthy teeth! Good sources of calcium include milk, broccoli and yogurt.

Sometimes we face challenges in our lives - sometimes it all seems to be too much-

important then is to breath in - do a break- rethink and persever - do not give up. That’s

how I started the practice in November 2009 from scratch. We spread flyers by

ourselves from door to door- every Sunday and worked at the beginning 14 hours a day-

every day.. I started with 300 patients from day one.

For us the most rewarding is to see the appreciation of our great patients- that is what

brings us forward, that’s what makes us tick. Every month we sit together and think of

what we can improve. So we join this month a scheme “ Good practice scheme

“ to ensures the aimed golden standard in patient care in all aspects .

For us humanity is top priority and respect- in everything we do- in how we treat

each other, ourselves and of course you ,our precious patient. We consider us as a big family-

helping you to a great healthy state for the rest of your life ! Through this we can also help the
