Trillium Creek Reading Challenge 2014! We want to make sure all reading minutes are tallied. Remember our goal is 200,000 minutes by March 19th! Your children will benefit from all the reading for years to come!
MAPs - Dollar for the Arts WLWV Music and Arts Partners (MAP) is asking every K-12 family to donate a dollar or more in March to support art and music programs. MAP is a volunteer, non-profit, organization working to fill the funding gaps for art and music education in our school district. In the past 15 years MAP has returned more than $600,000 to our schools. Please help to continue our wonderful music and arts programs.
This year every dollar raised by Trillium Creek will go directly back to our arts programs!
To encourage participation, Trillium Creek MAP is hosting a contest for the highest percentage of participation. The class with 100% participation will receive a free music class with Mrs. Myers. As you know, the music and arts programs are part of what makes our school so outstanding. We appreciate your support!
SPRING AUCTION ‐ A Night at the Races on April 25th The PTA is so excited to host the 2nd annual Spring Social and auction "A Night at the Races", benefitting Trillium Creek programs and classrooms. It will be a fun night of dinner, dancing, horse race gaming, a photo booth, raffle prizes, and a live and silent auction. It is a great night to get dressed in your favorite derby hat and attire, and come mingle with other Trillium parents and teachers. We hope you all can join us and help make it another memorable PTA event! Tickets for this event can be purchased online at www.trilliumcreekpta.org for $50 per person.
To purchase tickets to "A Night at the Races" Log onto www.trilliumcreekpta.org and register online $50 pp includes dinner, dancing, gaming, silent & oral auction. Derby hats & attire encouraged!

GOOD NEIGHBORS Help us to be a good neighbor by not parking on Bay Meadows Drive to drop off or pick up your children. There are signs in this area and our neighbors have told us that the traffic and parking is too much! This is also part of our walking area and we want to make sure our walkers are safe. Thanks so much for your help and cooperation. LAST DAY OF SCHOOL JUNE 13TH Many of you have been wondering about how the snow days were going to impact our school calendar. Monday night the school board made the decision to modify the built in snow days. What does this mean? Our last day of school will be Friday, June 13th. It will still be a half day as well.
The board also made the decision that the last day of work is June 18th for teachers. Teachers will participate in professional development on June 16th and 17th. We are very excited to have these two days to work and learn together.

Our next PTA meeting is on Wednesday, March 19th at 6:30 pm. Please join us!
2014-15 Kindergarten Registration Now Open for children who will be 5 years of age by September 1, 2014. Packets are available in the office. At this time we are taking requests for all day, pm and am Kindergarten. We won't know which classes will be offered until we look at registrations throughout the year and even throughout the summer.
YEARBOOK! Order your yearbook now! Order forms came home this week and are due on April 4th. We will not have extras, so you must place your order now if you want to purchase one. Order forms are also available in the office.
