LAST GAMEDec. 2, Rangers 1 at Islanders 2 (SO) - After a scoreless first period, John Tavares tallied a power play goal to give the Islanders a 1-0lead at 12:22 of the second period. Viktor Stalberg recorded a goal with 1:23 remaining in the second period. Neither team recorded agoal in the third period or overtime, and the contest was decided in a shootout.
