Donations for the Women’s Center of Brazoria County were given by our TDECU Tech Drive team members.Our University

of Houston Member Center team loaded up their little red wagon with donations for the Star of Hope shelter.

The Pasadena Garth Road Member Center team partnered with Members and collected just shy of 100 non-perishable food items for the GCCISD Community in Schools Program. This holiday season the program will assist 44 families.

Representatives from the Victoria Mall Member Center filled their cart and donated non-perishable food items to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

TDECU SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED THROUGH MARCH 4 Every year, we are proud to select our most promising student members to each receive a $1,500 scholarship to be applied toward fees associated with attending an accredited college, university or trade school. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be a member in good standing and have their own personal account. We encourage all our student members to apply.

Deadline to apply is Friday, March 4, 2016.

Based on academic performance and leadership skills, the $1,500 scholarships are paid in two increments:

• $750 for Fall Semester

• $750 for Spring Semester (subject to achieving the required fall semester grades)

We are also proud to award our $3,000 Marcus Stephenson Citizenship Scholarship to a student from Brazosport High School, Mr. Stephenson’s alma mater. The scholarship recipient must be attending college for the first time. Mr. Stephenson is a former TDECU Board Chairman, a long-time TDECU member and well-respected member of the community.
