Volkswagen launches iconic 21st Century Beetle in India

Powered by a turbocharged 1.4L TSI engine, mated to a 7-speed DSG

gearbox, available in 4 color options

The 21st Century Beetle price starts from Rs. 28.73 lakhs (ex-

showroom Mumbai) and is sold across select Volkswagen

dealerships in India

Mumbai, December 18, 2015: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car

manufacturer announces the India launch of the 21st Century Beetle. The 21st

Century Beetle is powered by a turbocharged 1.4L TSI engine and is mated to

a 7-speed DSG gearbox, with an ex-showroom price starting from Rs. 28.73

lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

On the occasion of the launch, Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen

Passenger Cars said, “The Beetle is an iconic car that has scripted

India launch of the 21st Century Beetle. Carrying forward its unmistakably
