22Student CommentsI think its alright. Its not bad cause if I got it wrong someone would show me why I got it wrongIt was a useful technique because I got to see how to fix my mistakes with others problem- solvingIt will help me justify my wrong or right answerIt was ok because when I would get it wrong I would see where I messed upI really liked being able to go back and watch one of the videos whenever I was confused about the writing process. The screencasts were so helpful. I was even able to watch them at home! This helped clarify where I was confused This helped me not to feel judged in classYou are taking a stand for your answer. If you believe you are right, you need to have evidence and explain! This gave me so much confidence!I liked knowing when my answer was all right"I liked when my teacher used this because everybody had to answer and not just the usual kids"23Leveraging the five practices of exemplary leadershipHow did you apply the five practices of exemplary leadership to implement the project?Model the WayTitles are granted, but behavior wins respect

Inspire a Shared VisionLeadership is a dialogue, not a monologue

Challenge the ProcessStep out into the unknown

Enable Others to ActUnite and ignite

Encourage the HeartRecognizing contributions24Feedback form

25TLAC FeedbackVery effective! I learned great techniques I now use with my classes. This book is great! The techniques made me start thinking about the transition into Common Core. They held me accountable and allowed me to see the value in the lessons. My students have given me positive feedback in relation to the techniques. They say I motivate them, which makes me feel great. They make my job meaningful. They helped me dig deeper into my teaching.TLAC was a great resource! The strategies I tried were helpful and were easily integrated into lessons flawlessly.I love these techniques!Very effective! I loved implementing Take A Stand. This book will be valuable in helping me implement CCCSS.I must say this was more beneficial than developing a lesson and analyzing data. We analyze data ALL THE TIME. So learning behavior management was more useful.

26Additional days at the Professional development centerVery valuable and convenient---gave me time!

It was so valuable! I was able to see the entire year to come

Beneficial for time management and goal setting.

I was able to concentrate and focus entirely on my Inquiry

They were extremely valuable and a very efficient use of my time. I was able to focus and get things done without distractions.

27Support provider feedbackI was so worried about how this was going to work. Now that weve met, I feel so much better. Im excited to try out this technique.I had a lot of great feedback, both positive & constructive to help me throughout the yearYou are a life saver! You always made yourself available to me---even after hours.I felt supported in every wayyou helped me with teaching and in life.Melissa goes above and beyond and goes out of her way to ensure her PTs get all the support they need. You are an awesome leader. You let me express myself when I needed someone just to listen when I wanted to jump off a bridge! Thank you!The level of patience and understanding is unparalleled. My Support Provider really helped me figure everything out, even if my unconventional classroom made it difficult. You were caring and supportive. Thank you for being a great listener.
