Dear Parent
Re: Year 9 Options
Your child will shortly be in the process of choosing their IGCSE courses that he/she proposes to take in Years 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4). Network International School has put in place a comprehensive process to ensure that all students select the right option choices, which will then hopefully lead to IGCSE examination success. As part of this process I would like to meet with each parent and student to discuss the following;
• The core curriculum offer. • Your child’s current work ethic and homework. • The IGCSE courses they would like to study. • The demands of the programmes of study, which will be made on students during the next two years.
Interviews will take place either on Monday 6 or 13 February at a time to suit you. The interview will last for twenty minutes. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity, which we believe is an important step in ensuring your child’s future happiness and success at Network International School.
Year 9 students will be issued with their Option Booklet by Friday of this week so parents and students can consider the information prior to the forthcoming parents evening & Option meetings.
