What is netiquette?

The word netiquette is a contraction of the words Internet and etiquette.  Netiquette is a set of rules that we follow for behaving properly online.

It creates good behavior for youth while on the Net.

When you use netiquette you are setting an example as a positive role model for anyone who is conversing with you. Remember that there is another person on the other end of the conversation.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that you know someone after having "met" him or her online.

Be mindful of what personal information you are posting on you blog.

Do not post anything that you would not want your parents to read.
