DETAILED ITINERARYDay 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer to hotel. S/he will do short briefing of the tour. After you check into the hotel, you can have rest in the afternoon. In the evening, you will have typical Nepali dinner with folk dance performances. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour of Swayambhu, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan City After Breakfast we go for sightseeing tour at:

Swayambhunath: At the peak of a green hill west of Kathmandu, stands the huge self born Buddhist Stupa. This is a place where Manjushree, the legendary patriarch mystically discovered the lotus of the prehistoric gorge lake some 2500 years back. Created to specific system each one with a symbolic importance, the stupa of Swayambhunath is a model of its type. Swayambhunath, which is also traditionally referred as a Monkey Temple provides the best view point for the entire Kathmandu valley as well.

Kathmandu City:You will have a trip to Katmandu Durbar Square which includes Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient and historic palace named after God monkey, Hanuman. And, go around the temple of Kumari, the residence of Living Goddess. Kumari means the chaste girl. After that you will see a very attractive temple Kasthamandap which is believed to be constructed from a single tree trunk and the name Katmandu is derived from this temple.

Patan City: The Patan Durbar Square has been highly praised as one of the richest city for art and architecture in Nepal. Most of the shrines seen today were constructed between the 16th to 18th centuries. It is recognized as the hub of sculpture and for the excellent craft of the artist.

Day 03: Kathmandu Nagarkot After having breakfast, you will have sightseeing around Bhaktapur City. Bhaktapur lies 14 km east of Kathmandu. And it is the city of devotees and is a hub of potter and fascinating masks. The main sightseeing places are, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which includes the famous Golden gate, the Palace of 55 windows, Bhairavnath Temple, Nyatapola, Dattatreya Temple etc. In the evening, you will drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is located at the north east region from Kathmandu just 32 km and lies at the altitude of 2175m. Nagarkot is one of the most popular picturesque spot which permits you witness wonderful sight of sunrise and Mount Everest views. Overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 04: Nagarkot - Chitwan National Park (190 km) Early morning, we will go for the panorama of magnificent sunrise view from the tower. And after breakfast, we will drive 190 km to Chitwan. Check into Resort and have our lunch. Jungle activities will be followed by various programs. Dinner will be served and stay overnight at the Resort.

Day 05: Chitwan National Park Today, we travel around the Jungle for the entire day followed by different programs like Jungle walk, Elephant Ride Safari, Elephant Breeding Camp visit, Canoe Trip etc and take our afternoon Lunch. Later after the Dinner we can enjoy the cultural show of Tharu people and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Chitwan PokharaAfter breakfast, we will take 5-6 hrs drive with the striking river side view to reach Pokhara. After hotel check in and refreshment in the afternoon, sightseeing of Pokhara such as, Gupteshore cave, Davi's fall including boating at Fewa Lake will be done and stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 07: PokharAfter Breakfast, trek to Peace stupa begins which is situated at little high altitude in Pokhara, from where you can see the improved view of astonishing Fewa Lake and Pokhara valley as well. One can enjoy their day in the Stupa itself and later in the afternoon, we will walk back to Hotel and stay overnight.Day 08: Pokhara to LumbiniAfter having breakfast, today we drive to Lumbini taking around 8 hours. We have our lunch on the way. After reaching at hotel then take rest. Overnight at Hotel.Day 09: Lumbini Tour Fly to KathmanduWe have a morning tour of Lumbini today. The major fascination of Lumbini is the holy garden extended over 8 sq. km; The Mayadevi temple lies in the west; the Ashoka Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC as a symbol of revere to his visit to the site. We can also observe the holy pond Puskarni located to the south of the Pillar. It is believed that Queen Mayadevi had a bath just ahead of giving birth to the Buddha. We then take a flight back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. We have a free afternoon or we can also go for shopping or hang around. Overnight at Hotel.Day 10: DepartureOur airport representative will take you to the airport for your way back to your country.

CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENTSCertain basic trekking equipment is essential on all routes we described in this site. Depending on the area and season, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of necessities. Here is some recommended Equipments List for trekking in Nepal.

Clothing1. BootsLight weight walking boots. If new one is being bought, walk then in to avoid blisters. Also bring spare laces.

2. Track shoesA pair of track shoes. To wear in the camp at night or when the boot is wet.

3. JacketWarm jacket. Fiber fills or down should be adequate. This is especially necessary during winter from December to February. A rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho. Get the one that is guaranteed waterproof.

4. Shirt and SweatersWoolen shirts and thick sweaters. During winter months, December through February these items are essential. Thick sweaters can be purchased in Kathmandu. 1 lightweight long sleeved -shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.

5. TrousersA pair of lightweight/ heavy weight trousers. Jeans are unsuitable to wear on treks. Cheap loose cotton pants are available in Kathmandu. Heavyweight trousers are useful higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.

6. UnderwearThermal underwear. These are excellent to sleep in at night in the winter months thermal underwear are quite invaluable.

7. TracksuitA tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent. 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.

8. Sleeping BagAs you do not carry it yourself this may be synthetic or down, but it must be 4 season. As most treks pass through a variety of climatic conditions, a long zip is a good idea. A cotton/fleece liner helps keep your sleeping bag clean. Good sleeping bags are expensive but can be rented easily in Kathmandu (Only for treks starting and finishing there)

9. Sun Hat, SunCream/Block & Lip SalveChoose a high factor suncream (Factor 20 or stronger) to protect your skin against the sun at high altitude. A combination sunblock/lip salve is ideal for facial protection.

10. Personal First Aid KitYou should have your own supply of plasters, aspirin, diarrhea tablets and also a comprehensive blister kit. (Please do not give medicines to local people without consulting the trek leader.)

11. Hat/ Glove/ Sandle/ Shocks/ Underweara)A woolen hat to wear in the morning and at night. During winter it is an essential item.b)A sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck.b)A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best.c)1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.d)4 pairs of thin and 4 pair of thick woolen socks.e)Underwear normal quantity and swimming costume, hankies.
