Sourcing takes place from fully qualified supply partners in origins like China, India, Egypt, Turkey, France, Germany, Poland, etc., which are regularly audited by Nedspice’s audit teams from our factories in India, Vietnam and The Netherlands. Our supplier audit reports are available upon request.
Processing capabilities in The Netherlands combin-ed with warehousing facilities in The Netherlands, United Kingdom, USA and East Asia guarantee that finished products comply with customer specificati-ons and delivery requests.

Nedspice Supplier Management Protocol
In order to continuously monitor and improve the quality of the
ingredients sourced from our supply partners we developed our
Nedspice Supplier Management Protocol. This protocol defines the
procedures for risk evaluation of raw materials, semi-finished product
and packaging material supplied by our qualified supply partners.

The main elements applied in the Supplier Management Protocol are:
Risk evaluation. Product and supplier related risk evaluation are described and the consequences for approval procedure and audit frequency.
Questionnaires. Supplier pre-audit questionnaires for raw materials, semi-finished goods and packaging materials need to be completed. For suppliers of low risk materials this can be sufficient for approval.
Supplier Audit. The execution of the technical audit of new suppliers, the associated supplier rating and audit follow-up.
Ongoing Supplier Management. Covers the relation between risk evaluation, audit rating, supplier performance monitoring (“vendor rating”) and re-auditing.
Supplier performance measurement is a cornerstone of supplier management. Monitoring will be done for material quality, on-time delivery, logistics and prices.

In 2013 Nedspice Group acquired Dika Ingredients BV, a 3rd generation family business that was established in 1937 and is located in Schoonhoven close to Rotterdam. Dika specialises in the sourcing, processing and distribution of a broad range of dehydrated vegetables and herbs.
After acquisition the processing facilities and warehousing capabilities were upgraded resulting in achieving FSSC-22000:2011 certification. In 2014 the company's name was changed into Nedspice Dehydrated Ingredients BV. The company stands now at the centre of Nedspice Group's activities in dehydrated ingredients.
Customised SolutionsNedspice Dehydrated Ingredients BV operates a state of the art processing facility in Schoonhoven, the Netherlands. With our customised solutions we are well positioned to offer a vast range of ready-to-use dehydrated ingredients to the food industry.
Processing facilities
When raw materials reach our production and warehousing facilities they are cleaned and processed before being packaged and labelled. Processing activities consist of cleaning, sorting, grading, granulating and milling. A state-of-the-art stainless steel sorting and sieving line with integrated metal detection and X-ray sorting enables reprocessing products to such an extent that the highest industry requirements can be met. The double wind sift machine removes both heavy and light foreign as well as product own material.
Our X-ray machine examines the product’s density and additionally separates foreign matter from it. Granulation machines can grind coarse particles into fine varieties like for instance bell pepper flakes (9x9 mm) into fine bell pepper granulates (1-3 mm).

PackagingWe supply both standard as well as customised packaging. We package small to large quantities (from 1 kilogram to 25 kilograms up to big bags of maximum 1000 kilograms). There is no need to divide the batches into sub-batches as we do this work for you so that the product is ready to use in your production. All our packaging materials are food-approved.
Warehousing and logistical servicesOur on-site warehousing and transport facilities offer logistic advantages. We build mixed pallets according to your loading requirements. We provide on time deliveries and flexibility in call off schedules. Our 'track & trace' database provides information about status and location of your product at all times.
