The Grand Canyon is found in the US state of Arizona.

The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 kilometers) in length.

At its widest point the Grand Canyon stretches 18 miles (29 kilometers) across.

At its narrowest point it stretches 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) across.

The Grand Canyon is around 6000 (1800 meters) feet deep.

called "Pepajau Magdalena”. Proper infrastructure to reach along the way

visitors can see sparkling streams. In the area you can also find streams,

waterfalls, La Laguna Encantada and the Cave of the Loaves.

It is located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas.

Its peak is 8,848 meters (29,029 ft.) above sea level and is the 5th furthest summit from the center of earth.

In 1865, Andrew Waugh, the British Surveyor General of India, suggested that the mountain be named after his predecessor in the job, Sir George Everest.
