Logged over 140 hours of Deep Sea Diving evolutions using a combination of mixed gas, SCUBA, rebreather, recompression chamber and air surface supply diving.

As a self-motivator I logged in excess of 30 off duty hours enabling me to finish well ahead of my peers to qualify as Command Duty Officer (CDO), enabling me to act as a direct representative of the Commanding Officer.

Valuable team member of the NEDU Hyperbaric Chamber Test and Inspection Team Successfully executed over 6 complex testing evolutions which directly contributed to

Naval Special Warfare equipment and diving theory development and operations. Damage Control Officer expertly trained to recognize sources of flooding, fires and gas

leaks of over 175 high pressure mixed gas flasks and all Ocean Simulator Facility Equipment.

Directly responsible for mustering over thirty military and civilian personnel and addressing all staffing challenges.

Successfully developed the engineering schematics for an air filtration system used for command diver's life support and air filter system.

Volunteered to participate as an Auxiliary Security Force team member to support the command mission which required over 140 hours of training.

Improved reliability of supply chain software, systems, database and order processing. 

Underwater Ships Husbandry Diver 11/2010 to 12/2013 U.S Navy Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) Jacksonville, FL

After being on board for only 30 days and with the USS Groves (FFG 29) in critical condition, I was directly responsible for the underwater replacement of the Auxiliary Propulsion Unit (APU), saving the Navy over $500,000 in dry docking costs.

Promptly designated as the lead technician for the Fly Away Dive System for Divers Life Support that supplied air to 25 diving personnel members. Expertly managed the recertification of the Fly Away dive system supervising over 15 hours of Controlled Maintenance procedures with zero discrepancies.

Managed, controlled and supervised the spending of over $150,000 to supply and refurbish the entire Southeast Region Maintenance Center Dive Locker.

During two separate diving Operational Readiness Assessments, solely supervised the dive lockers Safety Program for all diving equipment and multiple work spaces resulting in a 100% assessment score from the Naval Safety and Environmental Training Center command.

Hand selected by the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Detachment Mayport and recognized as one of two personnel with formal demolition training to assist in the investigation of an explosive mine, personally identifying the object.

Specially selected to aid the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Detachment Mayport in the destruction of (100) 2.75 inch rockets and (400) bomb body rounds utilizing 325lbs of C-4.

Expert in On-board Safety Check Off procedures aboard ship, supervising 125 safe diving evolutions and accumulating over 600 hours of dive safety management.

Salvage Diver 11/2007 to 12/2010 U.S Navy Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit One (MDSU-1) Honolulu, HI

Supervised and performed 19 re-entry controlled procedures on five Diving Life Support Systems valued at $4.2 Million.

Volunteered over 100 hours during the emergent de-beaching of the USS Port Royal (CC 73). Tasks included: post grounding documentation of coral reef destruction and the recovery of over 20 tons of ship board anchor system debris which prevented subsequent damage to the protected Hawaiian reefs.

Vital team member which assembled the Forward Acoustic Degaussing Range in 120 hours allowing the testing, calibration, and certification of deployed minesweepers for both the Unites States and its allies.

As the sole MK-16 Maintenance Technician, personally managed the maintenance of six MK-16 Mod 1 Underwater Breathing Apparatus.

In an effort to support the National Park Service and Discovery Channel, managed additional divers as the tending dive supervisor, responsible for the electrical safety of a multi-million dollar camera system during the underwater filming of the USS Arizona Memorial.

Insured the integrity and readiness of over 10 Diving Life Support Systems.

In a rare mission to control sink a 110 ft. U.S Navy retired tug boat, accumulated over 400 hours of welding and rigging to institute a one of a kind underwater salvage training vessel.

Mentored 5 dive school candidates in basic underwater medicine and diving physics resulting in their successful completion of Navy Dive School.

Supported local schools and youth programs by providing over 20 hours of dive education, military history and diving demonstrations

 9/2002-11/2007 Intelligence reporting procedures expert, 100% proven record for the safe and humane detainment of over 500 enemy combatants in the Global War on Terrorism. Responsible for strictly controlling base access by performing over 6,000 random vehicle and identification inspections which protected 10,000 military civilian personnel, including 55 tenant commands. Chief of the Guard in charge of 12 personnel during AT/FP missions aboard numerous USNS ships in the Middle East.
