Suzuki method of Violin lessonsthe Suzuki method is a unique approach to teaching a young child to play a musical instrument . the approach follows the same principles children use to learn to speak their mother tongue – listening, imitating, and repetition – with a liberal dose of encouragement .

Young students first learn to play by ear, just as a child learns to talk before they learn to read . lessons are given once a week, with the parent ‘sitting in’ on each lesson . The parent takes an active role as the “home teacher”.

Suzuki teachers believe every child has the potential to be musical, given the proper instruction, environment, support, and encouragement .
