Download the Kiosk configuration file

1. Go to Online National Assessment Platform Home page at https://www.assessform.edu.au 2. In the Tools and resources section in the middle of the home page click on the Locked down browser link, this will

take you to the Locked down browser page 3. Navigate to the bottom of the page and click on Download Kiosk configuration settings link 4. When prompted log in to the School Readiness Test environment 5. If you have not received credentials to log on to School Readiness Test environment please send an email to

[email protected] with a request for login details

Installed Locked down browser

1. Log in to Google as an Admin account and click on Device Management

2. Select Chrome management

4. Search for NAP Locked down browser using this ID: jnpnffbhpejcklmmnndllikbakjejami

5. Click on Search. The NAP Locked down browser app is displayed with status Not Configured.

6. Click on the NAP Locked down browser app

7. Click on Kiosk settings

8. Turn on toggle to Install automatically

9. Click on UPLOAD CONFIGURATION FILE

10. Locate the kiosk_configuration.json file downloaded earlier and select it

11. Click on Open

12. The configuration file will be verified and View will be visible under Configure

13. Click on Save

14. Return to Chrome App Management screen, the status of NAP Locked down browser will have changed to Kiosk

15. Return to Device Management and select Chrome devices (Manage Chrome devices)

16. All the provisioned Chrome devices are listed

17. Follow the steps on next page to Configure your devices to run in Kiosk mode

Configure Chrome devices to run in Kiosk Mode

The NAP Locked down browser is designed to only run in Kiosk Mode. The following process will update your managed devices to run the NAP Locked down browser application (and nothing else). If you shut down and restart the device you will go immediately into the application and only have access to the NAP Locked down browser.

Enable auto-launching into Kiosk Mode before taking an online assessment.

Disable auto-launching into Kiosk Mode once you have finished taking an online assessment.

1. Log in to Google under an Admin account and navigate to Device management

2. Select Chrome Management in the Device settings

4. In the Kiosk Settings section select NAP Locked down browser from the Auto-Launch Kiosk App drop down

18. Restart your managed devices, the NAP Locked down browser will open in Kiosk Mode

19. When the browser launches select Device Check (without login) from the menu displayed

20. Perform the sounds and image check to ensure that your device meets the technical requirements for NAPLAN Online.
