QUALIFICATIONS:

Some of the skills I have performed are, phlebotomy, vitals, rooming the patient for procedures, assisting with procedures, injections, ear lavages, charting, patient billing, labs, patient care, running the patient through the process of dialysis. Doctor’s orders, taking down and reading back orders. I was also responsible for ordering labs and other diagnostic test, and scans. I have also assisted bedside on the ICU UNIT with emergency procedures. I have worked with the geriatrics patients for over 15 years, and I have worked with newborn babies and mothers on a postpartum unit, where I did merconium screenings, pku’s , on all the babies, and I also worked in the nursery, where I did vitals on the babies. I then also worked with the new mothers on recovery. I am proficient with Microsoft word, Accent, Excel. I grew up in a medically backed family, and have interest in going back to school to further my education and obtain my RN.

June 17, 2015- September 15, 2015 Concentric medical staffing 4250 N Drinkwater Blvd, Suite 100 Scottsdale AZ 85251. (520)881-4000. Here I worked as a crisis line behavioral health specialist until the supervisor let me go due a severe auto accident.

September 13, 2013- February 27, 2013 Elsie Phillips, Private duty home care in a private setting in the Patient's home. Here I was responsible for caring for a 97 year old lady in her home 7 days a week, split shift. I was responsible for working and functioning at facilities that were short staffed and needing someone to work. During my years with this company I also did home care for them when needed. I have worked on a med surge unit, rehabilitation unit and an ICU unit whenever needed. Along with working as a unit assistant, and as a behavioral health tech at numerous facilities.

I worked here and enjoyed my team of coworkers, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Here I was responsible for doing the patients admit vital signs, blood draws, ekg’s on patients, along with walking patients, and taking the extra mile to do whatever it took to get my patients where they are at ease and comfortable, and I also roomed the patients and

got them settled in their rooms. I helped with patient transfers to other rooms and or units in the hospital. I really enjoyed my time @ University Medical Center.

I no longer work with options for aging as a nursing assistant, home health aide, as they have closed their, doors for business. I performed these duties in patient’s homes, and nursing homes and hospitals. I am there to help the client with acts of daily living in their homes, so they can still remain in their homes and retain their independence a little longer. I worked as a unit secretary and their ICU technician. While I was here I was responsible for admitting and discharging patients to and from the unit to other hospitals, and or other facilities, and or units. I was also responsible for ordering labs, other exploratory exams, and diagnostic test and procedures. I also helped the Doctors with emergency procedures with in the ICU Unit.

Here I worked as An assistant manager when I was needed to do so, and ran the kitchen, and also worked as a stocker, and cashier. I also prepared the end of day reports, and handled bank deposits, and change. Inventory, and ordering.

April 12, 2004 - April 4, 2005- Banner Desert Medical Center Southern Ave, Mesa AZ 85238. (480)531-3100. I worked as a nursing assistant on the postpartum, couplet care unit. Here I was responsible for taking care of the new babies, and the new mommies. I did vitals and peri care on the mothers, and babies. I also did mech screenings, and pkus on the babies, and I assisted with circumcisions. I worked both nursery, and the couplet care unit, with both the moms and babies. I enjoyed my time on this unit. My Goals are to go back to school and further my education.
