My HouseMy House

Hi, my name is Sonia. I live in a big town in the north of Portugal.

I live in a detached house. This means that my house is not joined to another house.

In my house there are four rooms on the first floor: a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a bathroom. On the second floor there are nine rooms: six bedrooms and three bathrooms. And on the third floor there is a cinema room. In the garden there is a swimming-pool.

My KitchenMy Kitchen

My kitchen is very big. If you come in to my house through the back door, you will find yourself in the kitchen.

In the kitchen there is:– Over;– Microwave;– Fridge;– Washing machine;– Dishwasher;– Sink;– Cooker;– Cupboards;– Television;– Table.

Living roomLiving room

My living room is very big. In this room we can watch TV, rest, things among others.

In living room there is:– Fire-place;– Sofas;– Table;– Cupboards;– Bookcase;– Television;– DVD player;– Video recorder.

Dining RoomDining Room

My dining room is small, because I and my parents rarely eat in this room. We frequently eat in the kitchen.

We eat in the dining room when we receive visits.

In the dining room there is a table

with chairs, a fire-place and cupboards.

BathroomBathroom

My house has a bathroom downstairs and three bathrooms upstairs. In my house there is a bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs there are: a bathroom in my bedroom, a bathroom in the bedroom of my parents and a bathroom in the corridor.

In the bathroom there is:– Toilet;– Bath;– Sink;– Shower;– Laundry basket.

My BedroomMy Bedroom

My bedroom is very big. My room is totally covered with posters. I am always changing the position of things in my bedroom.

In my bedroom I have:

– Computer;

– Bed;

– Bedside table;

– Wardrobe;

– Chest of drawers;– Bookcase.

Other roomsOther rooms

My house has many bedrooms:my bedroom and my parents´bedroom . The others are for visits. I and my parents receive many visits, therefore there are many empty rooms.

In others rooms there is:

– Bed;

– Bedside table;

– Wardrobe;

– Chest of drawers;

Cinema roomCinema room

I have got a cinema room in my house on third floor, because I and my parents like cinema very much. And it is an entertainment form for the visits and for me

GardenGarden

We have a back garden and a front garden. In the back garden there is a swing and a lawn (an area of grass) for me to play football on and to ride my bike. At the bottom of my garden is a river. In the front garden is a small lawn surrounded by loads of flowers and plants.
