EkklesiaKaleo – To Call

Ek – OutKuriakon – Dedicated to the Lord1 Corinthians 12:13 – We were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one Body – whether Jew or Gentiles, slave or free – and we were

given the One Spirit to drink.


We are the called out ones, dedicated to the Lord to form one Body through One Spirit,

even though we are made up of many parts.

We are a group of people coming together to fulfill a purpose, NOT based on what is in our will to do, but

what is and has been in the mind of God.Ephesians 1:11-12 – In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according

to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, in order that we, who were first to put our hope in Christ might be for the praise

of His glory.

Ephesians 2:10 – We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.


We are the Ekklesia, chosen to be included, destined to be conformed to the purpose of God’s will.


A prayer for the EkklesiaEphesians 1:13-23

Paul prayed for the Ephesians to know Christ better.He prayed for them to know:

- The hope they have been called to- The riches of His glorious inheritance

- His incomparably great power- Christ’s headship, and His body (place and

function)

- The Ekklesia is to bring the fullness of His glory into existence in every way.



Paul continued to pray that the Ephesians, together with ALL the Lord’s people, would be able to

Grasp how wide, long, and deep the LOVE of Christ really is.

So the Ekklesia would be filled to the measure of ALL the fullness of God –

To become a body wholly flooded by God



Who can comprehend or fathom this type of love?If this is set as a spiritual target that we as One body are able to

reach, then we MUST reach past what we physically know

to embrace something totally different.We cannot settle.

We would have to do this together.We need one another!


We are CommissionedTo reveal a TRUE message

Not according to our standards or methods, but through Gods.

Anything that comes from our own self, is tainted with some sort of untruth,

But if our reliance is on the Holy Spirit(the one Spirit we, the Ekklesia, have been given to

drink)We can know the mind of God.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. (1 Corinthians 2:10)


For no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared

for those who love Him.

We have a mandate to go into all the world and spread the message that God has great things in store for

those who love Him.

It’s not what we do, it’s not where we go,But it’s what we’ve GOT
