Our little pupils, present ideas of making musical instruments with recyclable materials. We experimented and we ended up with little drums, tap dancing, whistles, guitars, small banjos, maracas, rattles and batons

ΥΛΙΚΑ:κυλινδρικά κουτιάκόλλαχαρτιά ή κορδέλεςδιακοσμητικά

SMALL DRUMS-ΤΥΜΠΑΝΑΚΙΑ

PROCEDURE: They are made by small cylindrical boxes around which we stretch a flexible material (balloon, plastic tissue, inner tube) and we make it firm and stable by pressing it around the perimeter or by using glue.

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ:Κατασκευάζονται με μικρά κυλινδρικά κουτιά στα οποία τεντώνουμε ένα ελαστικό υλικό (σαμπρέλα, κομμένο μπαλόνι, πλαστική μεμβράνη) και το στηρίζουμε σφίγγοντάς το στην περιφέρεια ή με κόλλα.

SMALL BANJOS- ΜΙΚΡΑ ΜΠΑΝΤΖΟΣ

MATERIALSjar lids insulating tape pieces of rubber glue sticks that press the

tongue (used by otolaryngologists)

ΥΛΙΚΑ:Καπάκια βάζωνμονωτική ταινία λαστιχάκια κόλλα γλωσσοπίεστρο

PROCEDURE:

We put the rubber pieces around the lid and we stabilize with insulating tape. We also stick with the tape the tongue stick. We decorate with beads, stickers, coloured cardboard

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ:

Τοποθετούμε τα λαστιχάκια επάνω στο καπάκι και στερεώνουμε με μονωτική ταινία. Στη συνέχεια κολλάμε το ραβδί ή γλωσσοπίεστρο με μονωτική ταινία. Στολίζουμε με χαρτονάκια, πούλιες, αυτοκόλλητα

PROCEDURE:

Inside the boxes we put lentils, or rice, or seeds etc. depending on the sound we want to produce. We mount the craft on the wooden sticks or straws.

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ:

Μέσα σε κουτάκια τοποθετούμε φακές, ρύζι, σπόρους κ.τ.λ. ανάλογα με τον ήχο που θέλουμε να παράγουμε. Στηρίζουμε την κατασκευή σε μια λαβή από ξυλάκια ή καλαμάκια.

And the results….

BATONS-ΜΠΑΓΚΕΤΕΣ

They are made by using a long piece of wooden item (long pencil, straws etc.) on the edge of which a round object is adjusted (e.g. a round bead, a nut, a cork, or a small ball). If we want a softer sound we wrap the ball with a soft material ( baize, wool, balloon)

Κατασκευάζονται με ένα μακρύ ξύλο (π.χ. μακρύ μολύβι, καλαμάκια, κ.τ.λ.) που στην άκρη προσαρμόζεται ένα σφαιρικό αντικείμενο (μια χάντρα, ένα καρύδι, φελλός ή ένα μικρό μπαλάκι). Αν θέλουμε πιο μαλακό ήχο περιτυλίγουμε τη σφαίρα με κάποιο μαλακό υλικό (τσόχα, μαλλί, κομμένο μπαλόνι)

PROCEDURE

We tie a piece of rope or thread between the two edges in which small lids, caps, beads, small bells or washer can be hung

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ:Μεταξύ των δύο άκρων δένουμε ένα σχοινί ή νήμα στο οποίο περνάμε καπάκια, ροδέλες, κουδουνάκια ή χάντρες.

ΥΛΙΚΑ:

καπάκια μπουκαλιών,

κυματοειδές χαρτί,

λευκή κόλλα,

ψαλίδι,

χρώματα,

πινέλα

CYMBALS-ΚΥΜΒΑΛΑ

PROCEDUREWe cut the paper around 5-5,5 inches long and 1,5 inches wide. We fold in the middle. We colour the lids ,we turn them upside down, we fill the inside with glue and put them on the cardboard paper

ΔΙΑΔΙΚΑΣΙΑ:

Κόβουμε 5-5,5 ίντσες στο μήκος και 1,5 ίντσα στο πλάτος. Διπλώνουμε την ταινία στη μέση. Αφού έχουμε βάψει τα καπάκια τα γυρίζουμε , γεμίζουμε εσωτερικά με κόλλα και τα τοποθετούμε στο χαρτόνι.
