Instrumental music is refers to any music played without singer. It has two variants:Pure music:This variant is refered to music make with the porpose to be just music and nothing more like simphonys

Descriptive Music:This other variant is used to extramusical meanings. Is not a genre in itselfs

This genre requires the mix of voices and instrumental accompaniment. Is the main part of the actually music is instrumental and vocal music genre.Rock and Pop bands are examples of this genre

Music composed to be played in religious context.there are two types of religious music de pending on the use to are going to take it for: Liturgical Music:Used for religious acts and ceremonys as part of the liturgy. Gregorian music is an example

Profane Genre

Any composition with no religious purpose. Used for entertaiment or cultural and educational purpose.It has two categories: Popular music divided in otrher two groups:Folk: for an specific area, such anonymous sources, ballads and local legends.

Light music: Easy to understand music.

Cultured music: Reflects the cultural context of the time and the composer personal thoughts.

Cinematographic Genre

Refers to the method of categorizing films based on similarities in the narrative elements from which films are constructed. Used to introduce you more inside the film. Soundtrack of the film star wars is an example

Functional Genre

This genre applies to mussic played in important events such as shows,ceremonies,commemorations...etc. UEFA Champions League song is an example of this genre.

Theatre Genre

Music used for theatral scenes, such as opera, musicals, zarzuela, and ballet.The barber of Sevilla is a good example.

Advertising Genre

Catchy music used to attract the consumers attention.
