This is a praying Muslim. When Muslims pray, the bend over on their knees and put their head and hands on the ground. They do this to show respect to Allah.

There was a lot of trade in ancient Islam. They were very famous for there trading and had many different trade routs. They also incorporated currency into their trade, which was not very common back then.

These are some foods that an Islamic person would eat. Muslims can not eat certain foods. They can not eat beef, and most other meats.

This is a bread that was very popular in ancient Islam. They would often eat bread because it was easy to carry and did not spoil very quickly. The bread that they would make is called naan. Traditionally you would bake it in a circular thing with charcoal at the bottom. You would flatten out the dough and stick it to the side of the cooking implement.
