Chithirapuram: away 10 kms from the city, Chithirapuram is famous for its old playgrounds & courts, bungalows as well as cottages that add to the old aura of this place. Also you can come to know the fame of this place due to its tea plantations. Echo Point: 15 kms away from Munnar lies Echo Point. Enroute is a small lake with rolling hills as milieu. You can hear the echo of your sound while making a loud call in surrounding hills. It’s a favorite tourist spot. Mattupetti Dam: Sited at a distance of about 10 kms, this place is famous for picnic spot activities such as boating & horse-riding. Also you may take speed boat that feels truly thrilling.
