Tirumala the most divine pilgrim center of Hindu religion is the seat of Shree Venkateshwara temple which is dedicated for the supreme God of Shreemannarayana/ Maha Vishnu. 

This temple is reportedly the richest and most visited place of worship in the world. The temple is visited by lakhs of pilgrims daily from all over the world.   

All wish to visit this temple and have darshan of Shree Balaji at least once in their life time.  It is the general belief that a person is blessed specially with wealth who visits the temple. It is impossible to build a similar Tirumala Tirupati Balaji temple anywhere in universe.  

Visiting the Tirupati temple on Saturdays and Purnima days(full moon day)is very auspicious. But due to the hectic life style and stress in cities like Mumbai, it may not be possible for anyone to visit this temple every Saturdays and Purnimas days.

Taking this in view, we have taken a small effort for constructing a temple dedicated to Shree Balaji at charkop kandivali which we could realise only by the wish and blessing of Shree Balaji. Whichever may be the place, ultimately Balaji will be Balaji only. Shree Balaji Foundation at Charkop; Kandivali West, Mumbai is instrumental in manifesting Shree Balaji by consecrating Shree BalajiMandir on 6th November 2011 on which the PranaPrathista  of the dietes were accomplished with grace and blessing of lord himself.

The MoolaVigraham was consecrated strictly by practising Agama Shastras and Veda Shataras viz., Jalaadhivasam, Dhanyaadhivasam; Phalaadivasam; Pushpaadhivasam; Dhandivasam, Khseeradhivasam and consecreation of Spiritual and Cosmic energy through PranaPrathishta.

The vision of creating Shree Balaji Mandir with entire body viz., Dhwajasthambham,Pushkarani;Kalyanamantapam,Kalyanakatta,Vedapatashala,Goshala etc., is finding difficulty due to infrastructural challenges at Charkop.

With the blessings of Shree Balaji and the support of thousands of existing devotees, Shree Balaji Foundation has taken a giant leap to construct Mumbai Balaji Swarna Mandir in totality so that all religious practices are performed every day without any compromise.

The process of building Mumbai Balaji Swarna Mandir has started and shall be completed in the following phases. 1. Procuring the Land: 270 acres land has been procured at Dahanu near Mahalaxmi temple in Palghar district for building the world’s biggest South Indian Temple (A perfect replica of Tirumala Tirupati temple). 

2.  Creating Goshala:

1008 cows will circumbulent the entire temple area and shall absolve the negative energies and make sanctum sanctorum area the most primordial place for Shree Balaji. 

3.  Creating unique structural design:

Fine arts institutions from five southern states viz., Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu have been identified to create unique designs as per Agama Shastras and Veda Shastras.  The best and the unique design will be selected and shall be used to construct the architectural marvel.

4. Building the temple in Stone and Plating the entire temple with Gold :

The entire temple will be constructed in Stone and Granite and shall be crafted by skilled sculptors experienced in ancient temple architecture.  Hundreds of kilograms of Copper, Brass, Silver and Gold will be used to drape the walls and doors of Shree Balaji Mandir. The required precious metals will be collected through donations.

5.   Constructing  Pushkarini :

Pushkarini will be constructed in the north east side of the temple. Water from all important rivers will be brought and shall be poured in the Pushkarini. 108 Gomukhas will surround the Pushkarini and shall empower the holy Pushkarini. 

6.   Veda Patashala & Vedic Library:

With professional and well learned gurus, Balaji Swarna Mandir veda patashala will teach students Vedas & transform them as veda pandits.

Mumbai Balaji Swarna Mandir library will be a big resource of Vedas, Vedic manuscripts, Puranas & spiritual texts. Pandits & researchers across the country will come, stay & do research in understanding the various ancient secrets.

7.  Amphitheatre, Shilpa kalashala, Natya kalashala etc:

Shilpa Kala is the principal, visible & material record through the ages. It is considered as the matter of civilizations.

Natyam is an embodiment of body & soul springing up “Bhawan” (expression), “ragam” (music) & “talam” (rhythm).

Annadanam:In Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna declares, annad bhavanti bhutani which means, “ From food all begins are evolved”.

Varaha Purana says, “One who gives food, gives all that is worth giving in this world”.

The entire process of building Mumbai Balaji SwarnaMandir will be completed in 5 years.To make Shree Balaji Swarna Mandir a reality, requires a lot of resources in terms of manpower, finance, time and valuable advice from skilled professionals. Constructing this holy project is not easy. Creating par excellence needs support from privileged devotees.  Saints and spiritual persons say it is not easy for everyone to participate or contribute in this holy project until God wishes and blesses the privileged. All the riches with us are given only by the God to us.
