Multicultural is a term used to describe a wide variety of programs and practices.

Determined Resources/ Cost•Stamps to check off guest visited will cost $100•Balloons and helium tank will cost $240•Background drop $85 per country •Country banner $15 each •Streamers $150 •Tape $20 •Stapler $8 per country •Pen $ 30 •Pencils $30
•Rent the school and school supplies such as television, projector screens, audio, computer (NO COST)•Additional activities supplies such as movies and food cost will be covered by people-to-people association •Display materials will be brought by the immigrant volunteers. •There will be at least six volunteers per country.$500 from Middletown

Career Fair Activities•All the country room are going to be open 8:00pm – 5:00pm •International Fashion show 12:30am and 3:30 pm
•Traditional games, painting and craft activities.
•Guest speaker – speech every 45 minutes starting 9:00
EACH COUNTRY HAS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT WOULD MAKE GUESTS FEEL AS IF THEY ARE VISITING THE COUNTRY NOT A CLASSROOM.

Organization of Program•8:00am-8:30am --Volunteer meeting
•Greet guest at the door with a map and a programs agenda
•9:00am - 4:30pm -- Attend the country of choice any time between
• Guest turn in the stamped map to collect a FREE item
•Thank guest for coming and remind them to turn in the stamped map
•5:00pm-5:30 -- Volunteers Thank You speech
Why is it important to learn about other cultures of the world ?
For an individual to recognize and accept differences among other people, they must learn about the diversities that exist throughout the world.
Questions
