Why ericssons Multiservice proxy?› A true multi-service proxy and has been for 10 years.

Ericsson has developed WAP 1.0 since 1998 and evolved this into MIEP 1.0 in 2001 and now Multiservice Proxy 5.2 in 2010.

› Over 140 customers in the direct traffic flow.–

Second largest has only over 90 + customers (Source: Ericsson BIC)› Best ISP in the market

99,9958 % for HA and 100% for SN in 2009› More scalable

Ericsson can scale up to 46000 TPS (10Gbit/s)in two cabinets and perform more TPS per server than any competitor. We are commercially committed to 60,000 TPS(40 Gbit/s) without any major architectural changes.

› Cost effective–

A one vendor approach provides a reduction in CAPEX and OPEX. The Ericsson Multiservice Proxy has replaced up to 5 nodes in one operator network

› Script Engine–

Allows for fast modifications of any browsing behavior without any API.
