What is a lifestyle magazine? Use FHM (Nov 2013) and Cosmopolitan (Nov

2013) as examples.

Key terms: Representation (Who? What? Why? How?) Ideology (reinforcing or challenging hegemonic values?) Prescribing a lifestyle? Progressive or regressive?

Blog your findings

Make a note of key points on the blog citing the publication and date. Detail how the text uses both image and text to convey meaning.

magazine. You will be expected to use original photography,

appropriate modes of address and themes relevant to the lifestyle
