Getting to know your Teacher Let me start off by saying I am so excited to be your Teacher this year! My name is Mrs. Blevins and this will be my first year teaching 3rd grade. I was born in New York and moved to Florida when I was a teenager. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida. I have a husband, five children, and a cat named “Tiger”. I love to read books, listen to music, dance, and have fun. I am a hard worker and I never give up! I have high expectations and will be your biggest cheerleader!

Homework Information Your homework folder will be sent home on Monday’s and should be returned on Friday’s. All math and reading worksheets will be supplied in folder. Spelling homework will be written in your spelling notebook. Reading log sheets will be placed in folder. Each night you will read 20 minutes. Log in the title
and the Author of your book, and then write 5 sentences explaining what happened in your book.
