Help for Business Owners Free mentoring support in 2012 for small

businesses and social enterprises The Mowgli Foundation is a registered charity working to support leaders of for-profit and social enterprises to grow their skills and community impact, and reduce unemployment, through the power of mentoring. We are now recruiting mentors and entrepreneurs for mentoring programmes in the South West. Give back to your community: Mowgli Mentors Our voluntary mentors are pre-qualified through a rigorous selection process, and are typically senior, successful business practitioners. They will have a proven track record in the strategic side of business, and possess exceptional people skills and the desire to ‘give back’. If you are interested, please contact us on info@mowgli.org.uk Get mentoring support: Mowgli Entrepreneurs Entrepreneurs must have a developed business/charitable business/social enterprise, trading for at least six months. Other criteria include:

a commitment to mentoring for one year (min. 2 hours per month plus the initial programme)

a willingness to pass on the benefits of mentoring once your year’s mentoring is completed. (Please review full criteria on our website).

The training workshop plus a year of mentoring With 3 days of intensive learning and relationship building, mentee and mentor matching and support from our expert facilitators, you’ll develop a framework for a productive year-long relationship with your matched mentor/mentee. Ongoing support from the Mowgli team, and regular networking and learning events are planned throughout the year with a structured closure and ongoing alumni support services. The outcomes The expected outcomes of this mentorship program are: enhanced chances of business success, guidance during key transitions and decisions in growing a business, understanding the value of mentoring as a leadership development tool, and the personal satisfaction that comes from supporting another person to succeed in their goals and achieve their potential.
