Moving from McAfee SecurityCenter to McAfee ePO Cloud

McAfee ePO Cloud shares many similarities with SecurityCenter.

There are also differences in the way that McAfee ePO Cloud and

SecurityCenter present your security options. This overview is

designed to help you ease your transition and identify options for

securing your environment using McAfee ePO Cloud.

Account management in McAfee Security Center is spread across

three areas:

• My Account

McAfee ePO Cloud consolidates account management on the

My Account page, available from the McAfee ePO Cloud menu.

The My Account page includes the ability to:

The SecurityCenter menu stretches across the top of the screen.

Submenus are nested beneath each menu item.

The Actions and Widgets menus provide additional functionality.

McAfeeePOCloudprovidesaflyoutmenufornavigationto

different functions and managed product features.

Drag your frequently used menu items to the top of the screen for

quick access to the features you use most often.

McAfee SecurityCenter provides a dashboard you can customize

with widgets to gain insights into your system security.

With McAfee ePO Cloud you can select from many dashboards,

each with a different theme. Within each dashboard you will see

one or more monitors.

Depending on your software subscriptions, you can protect mobile

devices, as well as desktop computers and laptops. For this reason,

McAfee ePO Cloud lists systems instead of computers.

To see all your managed systems select Systemsfromtheflyout

menu. To modify tasks on one or more systems, apply tags, or

view events, choose System Tree.


Wrapping Up

McAfee SecurityCenter and McAfee ePO Cloud help you manage your security software and protect your network. You can

transition to McAfee ePO Cloud with a minimum of network interruption.

• Logon to McAfee ePO Cloud. Because you are moving from McAfee SecurityCenter, we have already created an account for you.
