Interactive DVD Menu (Watchmen)

Brief description:What do you see?

The entire image within the DVD menu are coloured with a yellow tint which fits with the theme of the film. The menu begins with the black and yellow title of the film. There are then various transitions within the menu that introduces the different characters using images and video clips. There is also a DVD menu at the bottom of the screen. The yellow banner of the logo guides the audience to the different characters.

There are sometimes smoke effects within the menu and the picture is very dark. This reflects the film as the film is also very dark and grimy. There are a lot of yellows, blacks and greys used in the menu. The movement is very quick similar to an action film.

Advanced techniques:Blur, Sharpen, Distortion, Rotation, Opacity

There are a lot of quick rotations which bring the characters onto the screen. Within the movement there is a lot of blur and distortion. The DVD menu distorts to white when the DVD menu sequence finishes. The sequence then repeats.
