President’s Report Hi fellow Morrie owners,
The birthday weekend in Gympie went well, thank you to Lyn and Mick for all the hard work. Hopefully some of you will get to the Early Morris Rally in Wagga Wagga or to the MO Rally in Ipswich. They both will be very good events. At this stage I can only get to the Laidley Sunday run, work is still very busy. However I will be racing at Leyburn if anyone gets out there, come and say hello.
For those who haven’t paid your membership, this will be your last magazine and you may have to pay a re-joining fee. Please check with Garry if you aren’t sure.

If you are considering attending it is time to seriously think about it. Only in the past week we heard to expect another five entries. Things are progressing well and the team is working hard including the ladies who enjoy keeping their fingers busy.. Next issue of the Fraser Flyer due out at the end of this month, will be bigger than normal with lots of information, stories and forms to be completed and returned for processing. I hope you will enjoy the newsletter.

7th - 9th Sept The Laidley Spring Festival. This is a good event to see, including a Quilt and Craft Expo, Orchids and Flower displays at all the churches in town , a free Family Fun Day on Saturday including the street parade with up to 40 floats and they make it, bake it, grow market, and a vintage car display. The Pioneer Village and Museum will also be open as well as most of the shops in town.

Older restoration being a Morris Register of Queensland club car for over 30 years. Work in the last 5 years completed by a qualified motor mechanic (and club member) – full overhaul and rebuild of motor and fitted with bypass oil filter, brakes renewed, rear axle housings fitted with modern bearings, gearbox and clutch checked. Fitted with a new SU fuel pump as well as 4 new Firestone tyres recently. A few spares and a set of wide rims included. She Is a very reliable old girl. Owner no longer capable of maintaining and older car. Currently on club rego Q568-880 (not included) No RWC $8,500.
