Daughter Jenna has a passion for capturing beauty in the Nazareth area.

Drawing on inspiration from The Andrews Sisters, the Swing Time Dolls pride themselves on tight and intricate harmonies that are sure to keep you engaged.

David P. Shallcross, Elder Abuse Unit Leader at the Office of the Attorney General, will discuss the type of crimes targeting seniors and outline valuable steps you should take to protect yourself.

MARCH | THURSDAY 30TH | 6:00 PMMemory Lane | Faith, Hope and Love: These Remain in DementiaMost people are aware of the many losses that accompany the progression of dementia. Yet all too often, we miss the strengths and abilities that remain even as the disease progresses. Guest speaker Dr. Kelly Carney will offer a positive view of dementia by focusing on the important human capacities that remain in the face of progressive cognitive decline. Based upon a shared understanding of the progressive stages of dementia, this program will explore the capacity individuals with cognitive impairment still have for spirituality, meaningful engagement and relationship. Furthermore, we will discuss the interesting ways in which lessons from spirituality and humanism align with the insights emerging through science and best practice related to dementia care.

A presenter from the Liberty Bell Museum at the Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ will share the story of how America’s most famous symbol of freedom found refuge during the darkest days of the Revolution. Learn how the Liberty Bell made the journey from Philadelphia to be housed beneath the floorboards of this historic church in Allentown.

MARCH - APRIL | WEDNESDAYS | 2:30 PMMidweek Lenten Services - The Roads to GodLent is the period during which Christians prepare for Easter. Many churches hold a series of midweek services which allow worshippers to develop a theme enhancing Christian discipleship. The Moravian congregations of Nazareth, including the worshipping assembly at Moravian Hall Square, have sponsored such series. The services are held in the afternoon at Moravian Hall Square and are repeated in the evening at both Nazareth Moravian Church and Schoeneck Moravian Church, on an alternating basis. The life of faith is sometimes referred to as a pilgrimage. This year’s Lenten series is entitled “The Roads to God.”
