Inventory Management system forsmall/Medium scale industries

Small/Medium scale industries outsource the execution of inventory movement transactions.The vendors maintain inventory for the small/medium scale industry in their facilities. Thesevendors have geographically and functionally disparate systems. This is done by a third partyto act as the system of record for the inventory they manage on behalf of that company. This

causes difficulty for the company’s inventory control, Supplier Managers, IT, Accounting,inance, and Audit personnel to efficiently and accurately prepare reports and reconcile theinventory !ith the vendors.

This pro"ect !ill develop a consolidated, timely, end#to#end, holistic vie! of service partnet!or$ inventory across all vendors and all locations. This !ill be a reporting tool. It !illneither be an inventory management tool nor a ne! system of record for services inventory.This can be a consolidated tool for both the original target company and its vendors.

%e are still contemplating the use of the correct IT tool for this pro"ect.
