WHAT DRIVES THE ITM ENGINEERING ACTIVITIES ARE THE MINING CUSTOMERS NEEDS FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS IN TERMS OF MACHINE COST PER HOUR, PRODUCT PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY. Our products are a result of extensive research, new materials development and a wide variety of laboratory and field tests.

ITM Engineering designs new products by FE calculation, identifying critical areas for optimized geometry. All aftermarket parts are benchmarked to guarantee identical dynamic behavior and to identify improvement in critical portions.

The perfect chemical composition of the steel is chosen based on ITM productive technologies, the component geometry and mechanical properties identified through FE.

Based on the steel of choice, the feasibility of complex geometry is simulated with specific software. Type and areas for heat treatments are also selected based on the previous analysis.

AFTER THE DESIGN PROCESS, ITM PILOT PRODUCTION IS TESTED IN LABORATORY AND IN THE FIELD.
