1. WHAT THE MISTAKE OF THE PICTURE?
Do not wear the safety helmets for head protectionon construction sites but replace it with other
things that not appropriate to wear.
The need for safety helmets to be worn on constructionsites should be established by the person in control,
conducting a hazard assessment.
Employers are responsible for ensuring that a safety helmetis worn on a construction site where:
a) There is a possibility that a person may be struck on thehead by a falling object.
b) A person may strike their head against a fixed or

The "Construction Sites (Safety) Regulations" clearly statethat no person shall enter a construction site without
wearing a suitable safety helmet.
#- there is the risk of falling objects, workers must alsocorrectly wear safety helmets to avoid head injury.Onalmost all construction sites there are situations where
head injuries could happen.
#-The work should be organised to minimise this risk, forexample: preventing objects falling by using scaffolds withtoe boards. But if even after doing this, risks of head injury
will normally still remain and you should ensure allworkers are provided with, and wear, suitable head

2. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION :
a) A safety helmet is required in almostevery industry where there is a risk ofinjured by falling object.
b)In areas of restricted head space whereaccidental bumping of head could beinvolved, a bump cap should beconsidered. Bump caps are not a
substitute for safety helmets and must notbe used to protect the head from fallingobject.
From this PBL, we learn that the important to analyze theoperation of the industry. JSA plays an important role to
ensure the safety of employees and to reduce the injury ratein respective work places.
Besides, we also learned the potential aspects and also itimpacts on JSA to ensure the safety and precaution that needto take place and follow by either employees or employer to
produce a safe and healthy working place.
