#- there is the risk of falling objects, workers must alsocorrectly wear safety helmets to avoid head injury.Onalmost all construction sites there are situations where

    head injuries could happen.

#-The work should be organised to minimise this risk, forexample: preventing objects falling by using scaffolds withtoe boards. But if even after doing this, risks of head injury

will normally still remain and you should ensure allworkers are provided with, and wear, suitable head

    protection.

    4. HEAD PROTECTION SHOULD :

    a) A safety helmet is required in almostevery industry where there is a risk ofinjured by falling object.

b)In areas of restricted head space whereaccidental bumping of head could beinvolved, a bump cap should beconsidered. Bump caps are not a

substitute for safety helmets and must notbe used to protect the head from fallingobject.
