The Bucks are playing in their first Game 7 since 2010 when their First Round series against the Atlanta

Hawks went to Game 7. This is Milwaukee’s 10th Game 7 in franchise history and its seventh on the road. Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his third 30-point game, and second 30-point/10-rebound game of the

postseason in Game 6 on Thursday as he scored a game-high 31 points (13-23 FG) and hauled in a game-

high 14 rebounds. Antetokounmpo’s five career 30-point games in the postseason are already the fourth-most

in franchise history. Khris Middleton scored 16 points in Game 6, going 7-for-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from beyond the arc.

Middleton is currently tied with Antetokounmpo for the ninth-best shooting percentage this postseason (.596). Middleton has made 20 3-pointers in six games this postseason, which is the fourth-most 3s made by a Buck

in the postseason in franchise history. Only Middleton and Ray Allen have made more than 20 3-pointers in a

series in Bucks playoff history. Middleton ranks fourth among all players this postseason with a 62.5 three-

point field goal percentage. For the fourth time in the playoffs the Bucks shot over 50.0 percent as a team as they shot 50.7 percent in

Game 6 on Thursday. Milwaukee (.504) is one of only two teams (New Orleans, .522) with a team field goal

percentage better than 50.0 percent. In Game 6 Milwaukee held Boston to just 37.0 percent shooting, which is the third-lowest single-game

shooting percentage by a team in the 2018 Playoffs. Overall this postseason, the Celtics are shooting just

42.7 percent, which is the second-lowest mark among playoff teams. Jabari Parker hauled in 10+ rebounds for the first time in his playoff career after tallying 11 rebounds with

nine points in Thursday’s Game 6. Parker is averaging 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while shooting

48.9 percent from the field in his last four games.

April 26, 2018 vs. Boston

W, 97-86 – The Bucks beat the Celtics on

Thursday night at the BMO Harris Bradley

Center, 97-86, to even the series at 3-3

and force a Game 7 in Boston. The Bucks

ended the first quarter on a 9-2 run to pull

within two, 24-22, before tying the game

at 34 in the second quarter. After that, the Bucks used a 14-5 run to push their lead

to nine at the half, 48-39. The Bucks

continued the momentum at the start of

the third quarter, pushing their lead to as

many as 14 points before Boston went on

a 20-6 run of its own to tie the game at

61. Milwaukee finished the third quarter up nine, 74-65. In the fourth quarter, the

Celtics cut the lead back to two with 7:13

left to play before Malcolm Brogdon hit a

corner 3-pointer and Giannis

Antetokounmpo made a cutting layup to

put the Bucks up by eight, 86-78, with

4:22 remaining. Jayson Tatum then hit a 3-pointer to pull the Celtics within five, but

that’s as close as they would get as

Milwaukee went on a 6-0 run to extend its

lead to 11 and put the game out of reach

for Boston. Antetokounmpo scored a

game-high 31 points with 14 rebounds

while Brogdon and Khris Middleton chipped in 16 points apiece. Tatum led

the way for Boston with 22 points.

April 24, 2018 at Boston

L, 87-92 – A low-scoring contest ended

with the Celtics picking up a 92-87 win

over the Bucks in Game 5 at TD Garden

on Tuesday. Neither team shot better than

42.0 percent in the game and after a low-

scoring first half, the Bucks found themselves down 11 at 48-37. In the third

quarter, Boston extended its lead to 16

points, 56-40, before Milwaukee fought

back to cut the lead down to four, 61-57,

after a 17-4 run. Despite trimming the

deficit to four points, the Bucks entered

the fourth quarter down 11 at 72-61. In

the final quarter of play, Milwaukee was able to get within four points on six

different occasions, and three points at

87-84 with 19 seconds remaining. But the

Celtics had an answer each time the

Bucks got to within four points and after

Milwaukee cut the lead to three points,

Boston made two free throws to go back up by five with 16.4 seconds left. After

that, Thon Maker missed a 3-pointer and

the Celtics made two more free throws to

go up by seven with six seconds left, which

put the game out of reach for the Bucks.

Khris Middleton led Milwaukee scoring 23

points. Al Horford led the Celtics with 22 points and 14 rebounds.

First Round Series against the Celtics. Both are averaging over 25.0 points per game and are each shooting over 55.0 percent from the field. Check out the

table below to see Antetokounmpo and Middleton’s numbers through six games this series:

JABARI TAKING A LEAP – In Games 3-6 of this First Round series, Jabari Parker led the charge off the Bucks’ bench. After scoring just two points in the first

two games of the series, Parker has scored his playoff-career-high of 17 points twice and had 16 points in another game. He’s also shooting just under 50.0

percent from the field and hauling in more than seven rebounds per game. Check out the table below to compare Parker’s numbers in Games 3-6 to the first

two games of the series and his 2017-18 season averages:

THE THON DIFFERENCE MAKER – In Games 3 and 4, Thon Maker came off the bench and provided a big spark for the Bucks. He became the first player in

franchise-playoff-history, and the first player in the playoffs across the NBA since DeAndre Jordan in 2014, to have five blocks in two consecutive games. He

also scored 14 points in Game 3 and added eight more points in Game 4. Check out the comparisons below to see how Maker’s Game 3 and 4 performances

compared to his 2017-18 season averages.

RECORD-SETTING PERFORMANCES – In their Game 3 win over the Celtics, the Bucks set a new franchise-playoff-high in 3-pointers made (16) and tied their

franchise-playoff-high of 13 blocked shots. The Bucks then topped their 13 blocks from Game 3 by tallying 14 blocks in Game 4. Milwaukee also shot 57.0

percent from the field as a team in Game 3, which is the fifth-best shooting percentage in a playoff game in franchise history. See the charts below to see how

the Bucks have been setting some pretty high marks in the franchise’s playoff history this series:

2017-18 REGULAR SEASON NEWS & NOTES

ANOTHER GREEK FREAKISH SEASON

2,000-POINT CLUB – After scoring 19 points on 4/5 against the Nets, Giannis Antetokounmpo went over the 2,000-point mark for the season. He joined

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (5 times) and Michael Redd (1 time) as the only players in Bucks history to have 2,000 points in a season. See the table below to check

out where Antetokounmpo’s 2,014 points in 2017-18 rank in Bucks history for the most points in a season:

BEST IN DECADES – In addition to finishing the season seventh on the Bucks’ all-time list for total points in a season, Antetokounmpo’s career-high 26.9

points per game this season also rank as the seventh-most in a single season in franchise history. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged more points per game

over the course of a season than Antetokounmpo this season. Here are a few more details on Antetokounmpo’s scoring this season and how it was one of the

best in franchise history:

Antetokounmpo’s 26.9 points per game this season were the sixth-most in franchise history and the most by a Buck since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

averaged 30.0 points per game in the 1974-75 season

Antetokounmpo finished the season tied for fourth in scoring in the NBA, which was the highest finish by a Buck in scoring across the NBA since

Marques Johnson was second in scoring during the 1978-79 season (25.6 ppg)

o In Bucks history, only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6 times) and Marques Johnson (1 time), and now Antetokounmpo, have finished fourth or

higher in scoring in the NBA for a season

Antetokounmpo’s career-high 24, 30-point games this season are tied with Marques Johnson (24, 1978-79) for the seventh-most 30-point games in

a single season in franchise history, behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Antetokounmpo is the fourth player in franchise history (K. Abdul-Jabbar, 6 times; M. Johnson, 1 time; M. Redd, 2 times) to average more than 25

points per game for a season

Antetokounmpo began the season 21st on the Bucks’ all-time list for career points (4,737), and finished the season 14th (6,751)
