My role is to go out to various wind farms & conduct statuary inspections on the davit crane, fall arrest systems, anchor points & emergency equipment. During the inspections I would often have to replace worn parts & conduct repairs of damaged equipment.

My role included duties such as the maintenance and service of all machinery and equipment inside & involved with the engine room. - Service of generators on an hourly based schedule- Preventative maintenance on all essential equipment - Repairs on equipment e.g. tuggers, winch hoists, cranes

Planned maintenance of various equipment from cleaning the watermaker using chemicals to overhauling a 6 cylinder, 2 stroke main engine.Unplanned maintenance of equipment such as pumps which have failed whilst in use which would need to be overhauled and/or repaired ready for use again.I would also be involved in the routine for starting & stopping of the main engine when coming in & out of port.
