Mechanical:Metrolog XG® offers direct access to all the standard measuring functions, including geometric features, constructions, calculations and tolerance evaluations, including advanced Best Fitting capabilities.

Analysis :Metrolog XG® integrates powerful algorithms to interpret geometric tolerances according to the latest requirements.

An integrated assistant automatically creates program steps by a simple click on the 3-D CAD tolerance representation (graphical representation of GD&T)

Sheet Metal: Metrolog XG® allows the inspection of parts by comparing their actual details to its nominal definition. Multiple inspection solutions are integrated to adapt to various specific applications (body, plastics, moulding, etc.)

Completely based on CAD: Metrolog XG® contains an extensive graphics library which allows the import of the majority of existing CAD formats, such as IGES, VDA, SET, UNISURF, CATIA, ProE, UG, etc. Metrolog XG® can also retrieve Geometrical Dimensions and Tolerances directly from the CAD model for some of these native CAD formats.
