A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM THE PREMIER

On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone participating in Discovery 2011, hosted by Ontario Centres of Excellence.

My colleagues and I recognize that research and innovation are crucial to our economic future and long-term competitiveness. Fortunately, our province boasts some of the world’s brightest minds, as well as world-class institutions and thriving businesses. Our government remains committed to fostering innovation by continuing to support companies and organizations, and to work with potential investors to develop and deliver winning ideas to the world.
