Domains 6.
Training Programs and Skill Up-gradation Workshops are conducted in: 1. Public Domain
Where in participants (30-40 nos.) are sourced from several beneficiary
organizations and delegating institutions. These programs are conducted in cozy
confines of five star facilities or convention centres or facilities as per the budgetary
provisions. The advantage of public domain programs are that:
(a) Organizations constrained on one or more accounts such as
o Size in terms of no. of manpower
o Budgetary allocations on manpower development
o Availability of sizeable no. people at any given time
are able to avail the benefits of premium quality training programs and
skill up gradation workshops at discounted price.
(b) Delegates from various organizations get to interact and learn about
cross-institutional practices.
(c) People in small batches get the opportunity to experience learning on
variety of topics and subjects of interest and concerns.
(d) Based upon the experience of a few public domain programs attended
by delegates from a given organization they can formulate mindset for
conducting the same in-house for benefit of other members at large.
2. In-House
Organizations and institutions commission our services for conducting the training
programs and skill up-gradation workshops in-house at their own facility. They
provide for 20-25 participant batch – be from same or different departments and get
administered the training module of choice and preference. These programs could
be done at indoor or outdoor locations as well – such as on group vacation tours or
excursion trips to exotic destinations.

Aspire to Achieve
Aspiration is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and
circumstances in one's life. It implies a certain amount of perseverance -
i.e., believing that a positive outcome is possible even when there is
some evidence to the contrary.
Achievement connotes final accomplishment of noteworthy thing, after
much effort and often in spite of obstacles and discouragements.
Business to Benefit
"Business" relates to the state of being busy either as an individual or
society as a whole, doing commercially viable and profitable work. The
term "business" has at least three usages, depending on the scope - the
singular usage to mean a particular company or corporation, the
generalized usage to refer to a particular market sector, such as "the
record business," or the broadest meaning to include all activity by the
community of suppliers of goods and services.
Benefit refers to the thing that a party was not previously entitled to
receive. It’s what accrues when one qualifies. It’s not essential to benefit
by every verb, however the verb is a pre-requisite to a benefit.
Call to Communicate Call is making an expression irrespective of its reception or reception in the intended sense. A
call is independent of the consequence. It’s like throwing.
Communicate ensures the understanding and acceptance of the message. It necessarily makes
the recipient motivated for action or worst a conscious and deliberate inaction – which is also a
version of action. It’s like shooting.
Page33
Do to Deliver “Do” signifies the deeds done whether or not the deliveries happen. Even if it happens, then it
may or may not be on time. Do is done unmindful of provisions and constraints.
“Deliver” anticipates, attends and addresses to the lag, the delay, the demurrage –uncalled for
cost. Delivery needs to be handled carefully otherwise the process crumbles. It’s done with
proper planning and making of practical schedules. The deliveries are made in line with
expectations.
Efficiency to Efficacy Efficiency is the ratio of output w.r.t. input.
The machine churned out intended nos., but the product failed the quality test. Why? The
manufacturing process was efficient but the system lacked efficacy. Efficacy includes efficiency
and is not exclusive of it. Efficacy is about having what is intended.
First to Foremost We can be first and still not foremost. The clarity on objective is
important. We need to decipher between the visibility and the trophy.
We can be first a businessman and foremost a politician. Similarly, we
must have made our first film but not the foremost on the subject. First
always matters but foremost is even more important. It has an element of
prevailing impact. It’s about being different, being effective - even when
not the first.
To our perception both - it and the variant are used to give emphasis to
the initial item in a list of several - but distinct and differentiated.
Good to Great The world around us is moving at the speed of Thought. The real question is, “are we keeping
up pace as professionals in this new business and economic scenario” or “are our mental
faculties still lagging by say 10 years or even more”.
People are the biggest resource of any company. But they have to be effectively used and
motivated to achieve performance at peak under demanding conditions.
Page34
Motivation is about getting people cheerfully, willingly and professionally to do things that the
business requires them to do. “Keeping people motivated” is an important component of
keeping people.
Hand to Hold Hand : Hold :: Hook : Hang
It’s the utility of hand to hold and misuse not to hold. It’s a matter of perception to hold or be
held. Waiting to hold or want to be held. Hand we all have and Hold we shall – it’s just a matter
of pragmatic decision making.
Initiative to Incentive Initiative taken for incentive is no initiative and incentive given for the initiative is the true
incentive. Incentive is a consequence and not the motive.
You do not prepare for success. You prepare to overcome the failures on the way to success.
More, to succeed is to understand failure. Policy of IDI is a novel concept – presumably
conceived for the first time in the history of business management.
Judge to Justify Judgment : Justify :: Absolute : Relative
Of the 100 judgment 90 are justified so for the fear of 10 unjustified or not so justified
judgments, those 90 be not taken? Probably yes! provided we know which 10 or which 90. This
is not known till the judgment happens conclusively and impact is assessed subsequently.
Judgment finds basis on facts, where as the much it is justified depends upon the
consequences that follow post judgment.
Know to Knowledge Know : Knowledge :: Environment : Product
Comments, remarks and opinion call for competence. We know even when not having
knowledge and despite having knowledge still may not know. When we are sensitive to the
need and requirement of the moment we would know and apply the knowledge.
Page35
Learn to Live Why be led by life?
Live life on own terms!
Count moments in your life … OR … Live life in the moment
Have you ever wondered what it takes to win prestigious fellowships? Or wondered why
some students are admitted to top academic programs, while other equally qualified
applicants are turned away? Does the application process seem too daunting, or your
chances for success too small?
It’s only in the spirit that propels you through – an identity called own self recognized by self.
Passion! Life gives lessons every moment and makes us learn them. Do we exercise these
learning in our life? We ought to practice the life lessons in our lifetime.
Min to Max “More the Better” is a popular maxim. Still better is that satisfaction knows no bound and
contentment the extent. We may be satisfied in less and not content with even more.
On occasions minimizing like loss and injury is desired, while at other time maximizing like
profits and friendship is desired.
Norms to Nurture It’s your choice – be on the fringe or in the arena. Norms are to nurture the human and not
that human are to nurture the norms.
Boundary has a play field within and those inside create critical moments; and it also has
balance space outside for audience to experience the critical moments. Those on the
boundary are the infringements to both the players and the audience.
Opportunity to Optimize “Opportunity knocks twice” – in myth and fiction. Once it does – in reality is for the fortunate
and silently it passes away for the negligent. Those who optimize on it are those whom we
recognize and eulogies.
Page36
Potential to Performance Do you want to be right or effective? How to get great results from people who may not be
that great!
Skill and intelligence are not enough – we need Behavioral Leadership. Listen like a leader
and make people feel heard. Important it is – the hiring for talent –identify the specific
reoccurring patterns that lead to successful job performance.
Potential becomes performance when we learn to maximizing strengths and minimizing
weaknesses, keep and attract top performers – the managers who build a team out of
individual performers.
Quick to Qualify Alert and prepared are those who qualify.
The ones, who don’t qualify, never wanted it that badly. Those who quickly qualify are the
ones who have more productive life. However, in pursuit to quickly qualify we needn’t lose
sight of the goal – it’s as important to achieve as is to qualify.
Rags to Riches “Rags” is nothing but manifestation of state of mind; and so is “Riches”. The state of being
relates to what’s in mind – the thought process. Like mosquito of Dengue and Chikengunia
the “mosquito of Rags” propagates in clean water held in containers, desert coolers, pots,
tyres etc. The control mechanism is to keep the purported containers of mind dry and free
from dampness of doubts.
Being rich is no magic! – Neither it’s impossible but for the mind which thinks so. Have your
mind’s overhaul done and see how the “Riches” start happening to you and your fortune.
Strive to Succeed Strive we should, and Success shall happen. The hitch is when? The seeds germinate when
they get adequate moisture, air and manure, so happens the success.
Success when not planned is fate, and is not repetitive. Its an outcome of sustenance,
perseverance and determination. The direction be controlled and progress be monitored
and that’s it ! the success is yours .
Page37
Trial to Transform Trial is attempt, at times several. In order to transform, trials are made and the way it’s done
determines the time dimension involved in it. When we follow the trend, we literally follow an
outcome; where as when we break the trend we influence the outcome. Doing the one thing
for 30 years doesn’t make one 30 years experienced rather its 1 x 30 yrs experience. To be
30 years experienced implies having done as many things in that duration.
Transform is simplifying the process of solving, iteration is a confirmation. Trials need to be
done with pragmatism and be systematic.
Use to Utility Use : Utility :: Throw : Retain
Use or be used! It’s to do with exploitation while utility is to systematically pursue the motive.
When we utilize – it has longevity in perspective – a scheme of things associated.
Valour to Victory Valour is a prerequisite to victory; it is necessary and still not ensures victory. Then what
else?
Yes, victory needs luck, the luck that doesn’t happen by chance, it’s created – a consistent
and conscious preparation for the same.
Way to Win Of the “n” possible ways there are “n-1” no. of ways to failure but there is only ONE Way to
success. What’s that?
Instead of being lost in the maze of ways, we need to be heading for success – sooner the
better. However, it isn’t a cakewalk. It’s about being intuitive, creative - willing not wishing
and waiting. There are ways and the appropriate / right way leads to the win.
Page38
Xcuse to Xecute Excuses are a plenty; Execution a few.
We know in how many ways a thing can’t be done rather are sure will not be done in garb of
one pretext or another. Execute is to do it and get it. Finding reason(s) to do is rare. Mostly we
sit back in critical mood – wait and see as to how it can happen.
Yearn to Yield Yearn, think as much –but when you don’t see results or even if you see it’s not on expected
lines we are likely to lose steam.
In order to yield volumes, the energy levels need to be maintained upwards and it’s better said
than done.
Zeal to Zoom Zeal relates to desire; Zoom signifies movement. Desire when coupled with design changes
inertia of wish into that of belief and the action happens.
It’s widely accepted that we all have the zeal to get; however not all of us get it there and then.
To zoom into achievement mode requires a bit more than the energy and wish.
