Mesopotamia Comic Strip Project You are going to create a 2 panel comic strip to

illustrate the daily life of a fictional character living in

the “Fertile Crescent”. You will need to demonstrate a

general understanding of life in ancient Mesopotamia.

You need to include the following 6 aspects of this

civilization that were discussed in class: use of

natural resources, religion/culture, written records,

development of cities, government, and technology.

For each panel, you will illustrate “Life in Mesopotamia”. Please take note that there are 6 things you need to

show and only 2 panels to illustrate. This means that you need to get creative and show several of these

concepts in each illustration..

Some examples might be working the fields, worshipping the gods, or learning to be a scribe. Under each

illustration, you need to include a caption that explains what is happening in that panel. For full credit, you

will NEED to include the names of the 2 rivers. You must use at least 10 vocabulary words from this unit. There are 14 vocab terms on your syllabus!

Please make the vocab stand out by 1) numbering them, 2) writing in bold, AND 3) USING ALL

CAPS. This will help ensure you get the most points possible!
