2012 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION for the LOCKHEED MARTIN AMATEUR RADIO CLUB Who can be a member? Under the bylaws, membership includes two classes: “full member” and “associate member”. Full membership is for any active Lockheed Martin Employee. Associate members are defined as retired employees, Lockheed Martin employees who are interested in amateur radio but not licensed amateurs, spouses or dependents of Lockheed Martin employees. “Guests” of the club include interested individuals who may not qualify under “full” or “associate member classifications but who do have a connection with the company or club. In the past “guests” have included LM contractors, customer representatives, or former LM employees. What membership includes. Generally membership includes participation in club activities, meetings, and general use of the club repeaters and use of the club shack. Auto patch and Mailbox Option. Technically our repeaters are available for community use and are “open” repeaters. However the controllers for the repeaters have auto patch capabilities and mailboxes. Use of these features is limited to those who pay a small additional fee to cover the expense of the phone lines. Currently the fee is $10 per year. Dues. Annual dues are currently $15 for full members and $10 for associate members. Guests are invited to offer a donation of $15 per year. How to Join. To join the club, please print out this application, complete the lower portion and send it with a check made to “LMARC” to club treasurer, Gene Marshack N6LDH . See application form for sending address. The club operates on a calendar year with membership after July 1st at one-half the annual rate.
