The XL vocal groupPerpetuum Jazzile (PJ),heralding from Slovenia, isone of the most frequentlywatched vocal groups in theWorld. The group's unprecedentedly impressivelive sound represents a revolution in the sound production of large vocalgroups' live concerts.Repertoire consists of a broadselection of vocal pop andjazz, Brazilian bossa nova,gospel, blues, close harmonies, disco and funk -sung mostly a cappella,occassionally accompanied byremarkable instrumentalists.

At the age of 15, Peterachieved international fameas "Herman," lead singer ofthe legendary pop bandHerman's Hermits. His classichits include: "I'm IntoSomething Good," "Mrs.Brown, You've Got A LovelyDaughter," "Silhouettes," andmany others. Ultimately,Herman's Hermits sold overfifty-two million recordings. Inall, fourteen singles andseven albums went gold.

PERFORMANCE VENUEAll performances are held at the Emporia GreensvillePerforming Arts Center, located at the GreensvilleElementary School, 1101 Sussex Drive (Hwy. 301North), Emporia, VA. The venue has been designed foroptimum visibility from all sections of the theater. Theentire facility is only 21 rows deep. To achieve excellentviewing angles, the seats form an “arc” around thestage. Seating capacity is 906.

SEASON TICKETSAll seats are reserved and subject to availability. Adultseats, $167.50; Student seats $99.50.

HOLIDAY GIFTSFrustrated by Christmas shopping and buying what youhope will be a special gift? MRAC season tickets makegreat Christmas, birthday and special occasion gifts.

SHOWTIMESAll MRAC performances will be held at 8:00 PM withthe exception of the Michael Bolton performance. Thisshow will begin at 7:30 PM. As a courtesy to ourpatrons, latecomers to our concerts are seated at anappropriate break in the program. Our ushers will determine the most appropriate time for seating.

HANDICAPPED FACILITIESThe Performing Arts Center features handicapped seating and parking. If you require a handicapped seatplease communicate this to our box office staff whenplacing your order. Handicapped parking spaces maybe used by simply displaying a current state issuedhandicapped parking permit.

The challenge of producing a concert series that features some of America's best known entertainers is adaunting task in a small and cozy theater that has limitedseating. Season ticket revenue simply falls far short ofour actual costs. Larger venues produce greater incomedue to their sheer size; however, through your financialsupport you can help us to continue producing "big cityentertainment" in a small town setting.
