How do bleeds work? Our printer prints all jobs on large white sheets, then trims the paper to our required size using a guillotine cutter. Slight movement sometimes occurs during this process, and the cutter trims inside or outside the Trim line. To avoid crucial text or images from being cropped when this occurs, we use a “Type Safe” area as a buffer to ensure your important copy and graphics are not cut off.
