Mechanical Engineering is a transversal domain. The projects supported by MecaTech match the
with the following strategic guidelines :
• The necessity to address markets involving Finished Products, Machine & Equipement for
consumers or industrial production
• The combination of varied scientific & technological knowledge and know-how leads to the
hybridization of technologies, and breakthrough innovations which are vital in todays
innovation process. It relies on synergies between partners including some improbable

SERVICES
MecaTech’s digital strategy consists in 3 levels of action :
1. Demand side : Promoting the use of digital in products : Automotive, Medical Devices, Machines & Equipment,
Smart Maintenance… Ex AW EUROPE, ICARE, LORA-SENSE, ADRIC,…
2. Demand side : Digitalization of industrial processes in order to improve productivity and competitiveness at
various stages of the value chain. Ex : JTEKT, Procoplast, Legomedic, …
3. Supply side: Development of competences of companies providing digitalization and automation support,
especially SMEs. Ex: Big data, Sensors, Simulation, IoT, …
Mecatech wants to match competences of companies from the supply side, with the needs of companies
from the demand side. This is achieved through various programs, the set up of projects, and trainings
