Sex, sports and strippers — sounds like a synopsis to your “Hangover” weekend in the P.I. or Vegas, doesn’t it?

It’s actually a pretty good summation of what we’re talking about in this issue. Yes, we know Febru-

ary is Valentine’s Day, but come on…it’s also about FOOTBALL! Yeah that’s right we’re talking SUPERBOWL. So you’re probably wondering what about the sex and strippers

part, right? Ha-ha, well without giving the game away, we suggest you browse through

the rest of the magazine and you’ll see what we mean.

If you don’t already know, we first met our cover girl, Dawn, when she came into our offices looking to work with us. Our surprised receptionists assumed she wanted to work behind the desk and not in front of the camera! Funny as it sounds, the minute we saw her strut in our Michael Jackson Tribute fashion show last July at MDM’s Hyphy Birthday Party, we knew this girl could work. Her one-on-one with us is one of the best interviews we’ve had in a while and we’re sure you guys are going to like it.

Before signing off, much thanks goes to the style experts at Sisley and Benetton for helping in this month’s temperature rising Style Mix. Not sure if it’s the edgy styling or sexy models, but if you find yourself out of breath this issue, please seek some help. We’re not questioning your athletic prowess, just wanted to caution. Hey, we told you guys we were going to push the envelope a little bit so we’re curious to hear what you have to say. You know how to get to us, so say something.

This dark cocoa-skinned exotica can day dream for days on end. She lives her life in the fast lane with as great a passion. This Texan tease is a pro in the modeling world with a strong love for work in front and behind the lens. We caught up with Ms. Perryman

for one of the best one-on-one’s with an MDM cover girl to date. It’s funny who would have ever thought that a girl who loves the island life once had a deep aversion towards large bodies of water.

MDM: Alright Dawn, tell us about yourself.DP: [I was] born in San Antonio, Texas. My Cuban father was born in Cuba and my mother is African-American, born in San Antonio. I am all out goofy and someone actu-ally told me once that I am the sexiest dork they know. I’ll never forget it — it’s just the funniest thing I’ve ever heard. What I seek out is just creative experience. I literally love and enjoy being around creative people. I’m excited to work with different people and do new things.

MDM: Hmm, Interesting and exotic. We like that. Sorry, continue… DP: Well, when I was nine I stopped living with my mom [and moved into foster care.] She wasn’t ready to raise kids so it was pretty rough. And yes, I grew up in the hood and saw a lot of physical, mental, verbal and emotional abuse. I was blessed enough to be removed from that situation and go into foster care — it was great. You always hear these crazy stories about it, but it was actually really good. I loved it and I am very thankful.

MDM: That is rough. Sorry to hear that. DP: You know, I don’t think I would change anything that has happened in my life and I’ve had it pretty rough, but I think everything you go through in life totally makes you who you are and I’m happy with me.

MDM: That’s such a positive way of thinking. We can appreciate that. Alright, so we know you’ve lived in Texas for most of your upbringing before moving to Hawaii.DP: Right, I had a friend who lived in Hawaii and [she invited me to visit], but I was scared because [I thought] that’s a lot of water and you know black people are scared of water.

MDM: Ha-ha is it because you can’t swim?DP: Oh no, I can swim. I’m just trying not to get my hair wet! Ha-ha, I took a two-week life guarding class and stayed in the course for almost a week until I said, “Oh no, my hair is breaking off!”

MDM: No way are you kidding us? That’s so crazy!DP: [Seriously] so there used to be a joke in my house because [when I used to have] a pool in the back, [my family would say] you can go swim [and if you drown] Dawn might be able to save you, but she is not going to get her hair wet.

So anyway finally [my friend] said to me, “Girl, you’re just going to live out your life in Texas and just die there.” I didn’t like how that sounded so I said okay I’m going to visit. I went for two-and-a-half weeks and I [fell in love] with Hawaii. I went back [to Texas], packed what I could and moved to Hawaii just like that. I stayed there from 2003 until 2008.

MDM: Then you moved to Guam.DP: Right!

MDM: Ah, see we heard you moved to Guam because of a boy?DP: Oh lord! Yeah, about that. So we won’t mention names, but he’s a very good person.

MDM: So you guys are friends?DP: Yes, very close.

MDM: With benefits?DP: No! No benefits.

MDM: Used to have benefits?DP: What?! Ha-ha. ANYWAY.

MDM: Okay, you didn’t move here just for him?DP: Oh no, I am definitely a free spirit. After moving to Hawaii, I [realized] I love travel-ing. While in Hawaii, I traveled to Norway and Spain. Since being here I’ve been to Fiji, made a pit-stop in Australia and now I really want to make my way to Japan.

MDM: Well you did win $1,000 dollars — use that to get to Japan.DP: Yeah, but I got to do my photo shoot first!

MDM: That’ so right! See, we like that — girl has to work first.DP: Yeah! I think when I go to Japan I want to work a little bit there. I just want to ex-perience different people, culture and fashion. It’s so fun, how could you not want to do that?

I am definitely a free spirit...While in Hawaii, I traveled to Norway and Spain. Since being here I’ve been to Fiji, made a pit-stop in Australia and now I really want to make my way to Japan.

Page 9: MDM February 2010

MDM: So you’re currently in a relationship now! Shoot, now we can’t put that Dawn’s single in the magazine huh?DP: Oh no, you can put that. Ha-ha!

MDM: While on the subject of guys, we know you’re very selective with the men you date? Which is fine, but we want to know why?DP: It’s very rare for me to hear something that I haven’t heard be-fore.

MDM: But don’t women just have the urge to “get things done” sometimes?DP: Ha-ha! Yes, we do — a lot of women do. [The problem I face] is my friendliness is often misconstrued so guys think that I’m inter-ested in them, even if I’m not attracted to them what so ever. Then I have tell them “no, sweet heart you’re not my type,” and at the same time I don’t want to be a bitch about it.

MDM: Do you have a type?DP: I do. I love eyes, good teeth, nice calves, good thighs and abs! I mean any ethnicity will do, if you have those things (she slams table) I am a happy girl! No, I don’t discriminate race, color, religion or creed…

MDM: So, aside from that are you a dater or a long-term relation-ship kind of girl?DP: I am not a dater. I’ve never had a relationship for shorter than a year. The longest relationship was for about eight years. I’ve been engaged, but never married. I’ve been told I’m a good catch, but I’m squirmy!

MDM: No kidding, especially with your free spirited self!DP: Ha-ha yeah! It’s quite a feat to catch me. It’s not that I try to run away from relationships, but I just pay attention to things. I am very sure of what I like and what I don’t like. Settling down is not a prob-lem

MDM: So what are some of the turnoffs?DP: I can’t be kissing an ashtray – that’s just nasty. Too much aggres-sion is not my thing. I don’t like meat heads and confrontation. If I want drama I watch TV. I could be really into a guy, but if I see he has a really bad temper…

MDM: So no Chris Brown-Rihanna ordeal?DP: Ooh, oh hell no.

MDM: We also know that you’re a go-go dancer. Do you get a lot of heat for that?DP: It is a pain sometimes because I’ve guys [say things] like “Oh, yeah you’re a stripper!” No I’m not a stripper. I love to dance and that’s my thing, I love entertaining people.

MDM: So what type of music gets you going?DP: I love my Ciara “Go Girl.” Ah, I would say Keri Hilson. I love me some Keri! There are so many songs that she has out. Her attitude in her songs is how I feel. She’s sexy and she does her own thing and I love that.

MDM: Can’t disagree there, Keri Hilson is fire! Alright, let’s wrap this up. Do you have any last words to your fellow cover girls per-haps?DP: I’m excited to work with them and excited to see them again. I know a lot of the girls were really nervous and even though it was a short time to be with the girls I think we all kind of bonded fairly quickly because we were all in the same situation. I’m just really ex-cited to see them all again!

STRIPPEDIt’s a quarter until 5 a.m. and the smell of smoke and Victoria Secret body spray is lingering on your body, but you don’t give a damn. You just spent the night hustling a client to purchase nearly half a bottle of White Wolf charged at Belevedere rates, so what’s it to you? You’ve made your commission for the night and all you’re ready to do is remove the heels, peel back the eyelashes and wash off the sweat and make-up combo before calling it a “night,” when most are just crawling out bed for that morning caffeine rush.

s an exotic dancer there is both a mys-terious glamour and titillating taboo

surrounding this profession. “Every girl has her reasons,” I was told in an

intimate one-on-one with a stripper turned military wife and mother,

who, after a turbulent couple of marital years, found herself back again in platform stilettos commanding control of chromed dance poles.

“I was young and partying [and I thought], it’s good money. I was in a hard time you know,” *Jen, 26 tells me over a couple of fruit smoothies at Coffee Beanery. It was close to 3:30 in the afternoon when we started chatting, few hours before she would glam and doll up for her shift. After being introduced to the industry by her best friend (who is now married and retired from the scene) Jen caught the bug of entertaining for fast cash. “It made me independent. I had my own money and it’s fast money,” and that’s what it was really about for her — obtaining her independence.

This profession is all about how hard you hustle and the effort you put out. Dancers determine their paychecks, but as in any occupation, refusal to work can result in repercussions brought on by upper management. Flat paychecks for six nights add up to about $500. It may not sound like much, but there’s commission for the

A

“We all have our reasons and honestly it’s not that we are low

class... We do what we do — I have kids to worry about and I’m not

a high school graduate, but it doesn’t make me low class. I have a lot

respect for myself, and I don’t want to do this forever...”

amount of drinks a client buys and also private dances for some liquored-up bachelor (or bachelorette) that can cost $50 for a mere five minutes. Throw in an extra 20 minutes and a bottle of champagne and that’s an easy $400 tab with 50% take-home commission. The bar pockets the remain-der. “Private dances are only when I need – I don’t have to unless I want to, but I have to dance on stage,” Jen says. “If I don’t, there is a fine; we either pay out of pocket or it gets deducted [from our paychecks].”

She tells me that there are some girls who go to the extreme for money, including prostitution. “I’ve been in other situations where a guy would buy $20 for a drink expecting to ‘feel up on me’ grabbing whatever parts he wanted,” she says. Girls can be “paid off ” for the evening and taken out of the club (of course if the price) is right and what goes on outside of the club is strictly the pre-rogative of the dancer and client. As long as the managers see that money, “[it’s okay to them because] we have to deal with the customers’ bullshit. We get bitched out by the owners or manager [if we don’t].”

Contrary to what many may perceive about strippers or exotic dancers, each has her own reasons for dancing.

Some are hired by agents in the adult entertainment in-dustry and equate the dimly lit, smoke infused club rooms as their sold-out Madison Square Gardens. Fame-hungry and attention-addicts, some girls hope to be discovered via strip bars (like Kanye’s girl, Amber Rose) and love the attention from “clients.” Other dancers use this as an outlet for fast cash and convenient scheduling to pay for heavier obligations like college tuition and single handedly supporting a family. As I learned, this is the case with Jen, a single mom who left the island a couple of years ago to remove herself from her past as a dancer.

“When I left, I left my old life [behind], but I had some [predicaments] and came back to Guam. I needed to get back on my feet and the fastest way was going back to what I know.” Jen married into the service and began her life as a military wife. Following her sponsor from station to station, Jen wasn’t satisfied. “What got me out of the business was my marriage, but it sucked because I didn’t have my independence. [Following a spouse around wasn’t for me] and I didn’t like it and called it quits.”

Now back on Guam with a new lover (female), she is battling to reclaim the independency she had, but the

stakes are much higher than six years ago when she first started. After struggling with her family and newly found girlfriend to accept the profession she’s in, Jen tells me that her family is very supportive. Her oldest child knows what she does to pay the bills and doesn’t treat her any different.

“We all have our reasons and honestly it’s not that we are low class,” Jen says. “We do what we do — I have kids to worry about and I’m not a high school graduate, but it doesn’t make me low class. I have a lot respect for myself, and I don’t want to do this forever. I want to get my GED and [enroll] into cosmetology school.” At the end of the day it’s about survival and a paycheck is a paycheck; however, you make your living and support yourself with dreams in sight –– that’s what keeps Jen going. When peo-ple are quick to judge, Jen says it’s simple to brush them off. “[They’re] nobody special to me to explain why [I’m in this profession.] If you don’t pay my bills, I don’t need to say shit to you. Other than that, just buy me a drink.”

Ok everyone! It’s time to feel the burn and get those hams in shape! We talked about diet and nutri-tion in the last article and now it’s on to the next part — exercise. As always check with your doctor with any specific questions you may have, especially if you are or think you may be diabetic.

BEGINNERSGET MOVING!

INTERMEDIATESCHALLENGE YOURSELF!

EXPERTSRACK IT UP!

Sprinting is a great way to add mass and de-fine it. It kick starts the glucose uptake and gets the legs moving and is a great way to work the whole leg plus abdominals, shoul-ders and back! If you can take it, trade a regular running day for a sprint day and run 10-15 100 meter sprints. The distance won’t be as great as running 3 miles of course, but the results are priceless!

Squats are a must. You and the squat rack should be long time acquaintances (if not friends) at this point.

1. Change your depth to vary the workout. Lighten the weight and work to get deeper, add weight and work the quarter squat to get those hips and upper quads activated. 2. Get the dead lifts going to fire up the hamstrings. If your hamstrings aren’t sore after you dead lift – you did it wrong.3. Use the squat bar with weight and try a reverse lunge. It will cause your buttocks to engage differently and challenge the mus-cles in a different way, which is key.

Any movement is good.

Walking, jogging, running (yes there is a difference), biking, rolling, dancing, whatever! At this stage it does not matter. It’s about getting the legs going, and the heart pumping!

Start with some simple in-place squats, lunges and or toe raises.

1. Start with 3 sets of 10 reps 2. When that gets easy use simple ob-jects to add weight. Begin holding a canned food in each hand then move up to a two liter bottle of soda, or the 5 lb sacks of rice (that’s if you don’t already have a set of weights).3. Watch your form, stay balanced and take it slow.

You are going to be sore my friend. Drink plenty of water and work through it! Don’t stop. It will get better – trust me.

Step it up to running and add goals such as times and distances to keep workouts interest-ing. If you’re a runner, try a spinning class. If you always walked, try step aerobics. The key is to keep your workouts challenging. You may be experiencing a plateau at this point and results may be tougher to see. Keep it up and change it up to break through it.

Introduce weights and or resistance. It does NOT mean that you have to start with the big 45 lb iron wheels yet, but to get the lines and the cuts you want, weights and resis-tance are the way to go!

1. It doesn’t take a lot of weight but repeti-tions will be your friend. 2. Check out resistance bands as they are a light weight, fun alternative to traditional weights and give great results! 3. Take them with you to the office, to the beach, on your next trip, so you don’t loose momentum when life gets crazy!

R: So what do you like about video games? The pretty colors?

GG: Art and the color. While it doesn’t have to be awesomely great , it does have to make sense and must be consistent. You’ll be wondering and worrying why your character’s blood is now green instead of its usual red instead of focusing on the game play. You need to have all of these things cohesive to play your character to its max. So, while yes it is normally a tremendous hook to see amazing visuals, it is not a necessity for me.

R: Okay…um…

GG: Some [games today] are just not that imaginative. Those who know me know that I not only play console games. I also play an online text-based, role playing game. It’s medieval themed and it has no pictures. You’re probably like, “Well you just said earlier that pictures and color are very important to gaming.” I will remind you now I said it is important to grabbing a gamer’s attention.

R: I could not have put it better myself…on another note what is the funniest thing that a guy has said to you online?

GG: [Once] while playing Grand Theft Auto, a buzz of chatter, insults and instructions flurried [in my headset ear piece]. I don’t usually say anything on the mic unless I have to and it is on, but on mute the whole time. I warned one of the other gamers where some weapons were at and then they (opposing team players) said something about a certain team having helicopters. [Then] they were like

and finally they just started laughing and told them I was just [messing] with him.

ADDICTED

Hey MDM gamers! It’s the second month of the New Year and we thought that we throw a curve into the mix. In this February’s Addicted we’ve got a treat for you! We’ve all been owned by a girl gamer at least once in our lives. And normally when we think of a Girl Gamer we think…braces, pimples and drool. This time we have the exact opposite for you…the fabled hot girl gamer [and a 2010 MDM Cover model]. I got to sit with Khiersty-Ahn and ask her a few questions. Enjoy!

GIRLGAMER

R: Haha….wait…that was probably me. So what drew you into the avatar-filled world of gaming?

GG: I think I rejected the idea of a command prompt looking game like three times saying, why do I need to subscribe? Why do I need to pay to play that? I didn’t understand. As unintelligent as it may sound I was indeed concerned for its lack of pictures. My Auntie finally gave me a free character slot, showed me around and gave me some nifty looking gear. It is and was like reading and writing your own book instead of watching a character play a part in a movie. I began weaving my character’s story and it was addictive socializing with the other gamers in that circle and I did get sucked in with out pictures.

“Holy crap, you’re a girl!” I was like... “No sorry, I just have a feminine voice.”“Dude, you sound like a girl!” “Yeah, I get that a lot.” He believed me for a few rounds

Okay so other than getting completely schooled about video games this time around we hope to bring our famed Girl Gamer around more often than not. Eventually we’ll get her to put up her gamer tag so that you can get schooled too! Until then…video games, a whole lot of caffeinated soda’s, and hot gamer girls should keep you obviously ADDICTED!

THe Real life Guide TO GuaM

What’s up to my peep squad! Hope every-one has an awesome new year, because I know right now, my year is off to a not so stellar start. The other day, I realized something –– that I am hella out of shape! I don’t know if you have ever had one of those EUREKA moments, but I think this might be the closest I have ever had to one. Seriously, the purpose of this month’s guide is not to make you examine your life, or help you examine someone else’s life, but my way of sharing the hilarious observations that I made about myself. Also, I have to say that in my opinion size doesn’t necessarily have a monstrous bearing on your level of fitness. I know several dudes and daus who are twice my size, but can jam a 5k no problem and I know some super skinny people who can’t hang during a game of bowling.

Anyway, back to my realization, here’s how it went down:

I WAS SWEATING DOING WHAT???!!!!So the first sign that I was out of shape came as I performed a task that I had performed a million-kajillion times – GET-TING OUT OF MY CAR! Okay, so I unbuckle my seatbelt, I grab my laptop bag and I proceed to swing my legs out of my car. I do the do and I proceed to walk towards my house, but this time, something was different. It felt like I just went swimming!! My shirt was soaking wet! ALL I DID WAS GET OUT OF MY AIR CON CAR AND I WAS SWEATING! The front part of my shirt dried, but for the rest of the day I had to make sure that I kept my arms down or everyone would see the fa-fa wetness.

MY UNDERWEAR BAND WAS SHEERAs if that wasn’t bad enough, that day I also notice another alarming situation. I really have no witty intro for this play of events so I am just going to say it – the elastic waist band on my clothes was stretched so far that it was almost see-through! This is the same underwear that once fitted me perfectly, but now, it was leaving tire marks on my skin! AHHHHH! Imag-ine that.

I WAS BREATHING HARD AFTER SITTING DOWN!Finally, the moment that I realized for sure that I needed to work on my endurance, stamina and overall health was when I got up from my couch, stood in one place for fifteen min-utes as I talked to my wife and then sat back down. Okay, I know what you’re thinking – how does that show you’re out of shape? Standing still for fifteen minutes doesn’t, but the fact that sitting down made me start to breathe hard does! Can you imagine me at church?!

I just want to say that today I am going to start trying to be fit. I am going to jam on my WiiFit everyday and replace every meal with a Grilled Chicken Salad from Burger King – wink wink! Until next month, I’m Kyle Mandapat and I’ll see you guys on the radio!

ne of a kind and a first on Guam, Jonathan Topacio bought the new and redesigned Subaru STI model last year. “I was watching The ESPN X-Games rally competi-tion and wanted to know if it was possible to buy a car set up for rallies without having to do major upgrades,” he tells us. “I can tell you a few mods, only because I

want to keep people guessing, but the most important thing is the badge –– the STI (Subaru Tecnica International) badge means this was specifically built to be driven on dirt, gravel, snow and asphalt because of its symmetrical (balanced) all-wheel-drive system.” Along with a STI turbo charger with Dual Active Valve Control System

for improved exhaust and combustion, 4 wheel disc Brembo ventilated brakes and STI high performance sport-tuned suspension with McPherson struts, Jon’s wheels won “Best Group” in the Metal Attraction show in 2009. Best described by the man behind the wheel, the STI is a “fusion of functionality and beauty which result in a sporty design with a heightened sense of composure. It has a sleek bodyline that exudes speed and exquisitely shaped body panels to accentuate the contrast of shadow and light.” The functional hood scoop and AWD system are two high-lights that Jon appreciates about his car. “I stress functional [with the hood scoop] because if you look at other cars with hood scoops, they‘re just for show, but not on a Subaru.”

Shout outs: - Shouts to my wife Mari and daughter Jhoanna for always being supportive. Let’s not forget MDM for giving me the honor of featuring my Subaru; the Subaru Club of Guam and a special thanks to Dom of Prestige Automobiles for hooking me up with my Subaru.

Maintenance tips

- Check your air filter and replace every 12,000 milesMost drivers think that cars run on just gasoline. Actually, cars run on gas and oxygen, hence the performance increase when a turbocharger blows more air in the intake manifold. If this flow is restricted by a clogged air filter, your performance and your fuel economy suffer. You could save as much as 22 cents per gallon by replacing a bad air filter.

THECRITIC

veryone has an opinion on a certain topic. The Critic is not about telling you what is right or wrong — it’s our point of view, our perspective so E

read it or not. Blind dating was a phenomenon popular during the late 80s and 90s before social media sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter killed it. But let’s dig deeper into the topic because there’s always two sides to the story.

Unfortunately, men are expected to fork the bill on a blind date or any date for that matter. In this day and age, there is a new breed of women (particularly cougars) who can pick up their own tabs. However, it’s always safe to assume the guy’s autograph is expected on the dotted line on most dates.

The other thing about blind dating is the anticipation on scoring after dating festivities have ended. It’s a logical thought especially after paying for the date. You’d expect there would be some form of repayment, right? WRONG! The male should never try or expect to get lucky on the first night, unless she’s game of course. If you think about it, no self-respecting woman would put out on the first night and if she does, it’s probably because

If you do find yourself in a blind dating scenario, it may be best to offer to meet at a common hot spot and invite her friends along. This comes in handy for two very good reasons:

1. If there is a sign of chemistry, secure your spot with the approval of her friends. After all, her close group of friends (be it male, female, straight or gay) plays a big role in her decision making. 2. If the date sucks, ducking out and planning your escape is much easier than in an intimate one-on-one scenario.

Blind dating no longer exists because one of the parties will give that individual (their friend) the upper hand by releasing information about the mysterious male date. Females are notorious for wanting to have the upper hand and most won’t admit it. They’ll always want to be sure the dates are

Added value or benefit is what the female expects to gain from their dates. It could be a free dinner, a few complimentary drinks or a round of cocktails for her girls. If you think this is not the case, ask yourself this question: How many women do you know go out to clubs expecting to party without a cent in their wallets?

First things first…as of Jan. 20, we are looking at the J-E-T-S at the Colts in the AFC, and the Vikings at the Saints in the NFC. But during my first night out on Friday (Jan. 15), not one person that I asked picked the Jets to beat the Chargers, and most of the bar was split dead-even between the Colts and the Ravens. I mean everyone knew that the Colts were going to win, but coming from Guam, we all wanted to see the under dogs (the Ravens) make it to the Conference Cham-pionships.

When asked about the Cowgirls…oops I mean the Cowboys and the Vikings, again the bar was split half-half. The hard core Cowboys fans rubbed the fact that they beat the Eagles in my face and were going to ride that momentum to obliterate the Vikings. The smarter Vikings fans knew that Favre was going to throw all over the Cowboys. On Monday I returned to that same bar with a smile on my face and a night of free drinks. What was even more interesting was no one picked the Cardinals to beat the Saints, except me. The Saints didn’t just beat the Cards; they slapped them around until they said “uncle!”

Almost everyone seemed to have forgotten, except for that one Saints fan –– and you know who you are buddy –– that at the end of the regular season the Saints had the best record in the NFC and had the most touchdowns scored in the entire League. Not to mention that the Vikings are 4 - 4 on the road and are going to New Orleans to play aching for a reason to celebrate. Personally, this one is going to be tough to predict. Most people talked about Favre’s heart and drive to win another ring before he “re-re-retires” and about Drew Brees consistency. No one talked about how Minnesota’s vastly improved defense might not be able to stop the NFL’s top producing offense or how the Saints’ weak D might not be able to contain Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson.

Everyone (except for that one Saints fan) from the two bars I visited thinks that the Vikings will take it in the NFC. It wouldn’t be fair to ask me because I’ll still say the Eagles, but in my honest opinion, I say that the Saints will be in the Super Bowl.

In the AFC, almost everyone was pretty adamant about the Colts pulling the Stone Cold Stunner on the Jets. Most fanta-sized about the possibility of a Manning vs. Favre match up, but the Colts passing is one of the best in the League. I mean come on, let’s face it —passing is all that the Colts have. If by some modern miracle the Jets D is able to contain Peyton Manning, the Colts might not have an answer.

In week sixteen of the regular season the Jets whooped the Colts with a 29-15 win, but many argued that it was at the tail end of the season. They pulled Manning out in the third quarter and that game didn’t really matter to the Colts. With that one game, the Jets denied Manning his perfect season. It mattered and I think that the Jets could possibly use the same strategy to win again. Run all over the Indie D and force Manning to resort to the run on second downs.

This too is a tough game to call. As long as Manning controls the tempo of the game he controls the Colts’ ability to make it to the Super Bowl. I agree with most, when they say that the Colts are going to make it to the Big Game.

A majority of people asked said that they “want” to see a Vikings vs. Colts match up, but they agreed that a Saints vs. Colts game is more likely to be shown on Super Bowl Monday. When asked who will take home the Lombardi, about 60% of the drunken majority said that the Colts and Peyton Manning are going to take it home again. In the words of a very wise man when asked who will win it all…”the winner will win all!”

*MDM’s Note: This story was sent to print on Monday Jan. 25. At press time, our prognosticator was correct about the Colts entering Super Bowl XLIV. The Vikings-Saints match was still ongoing.
