With a view to fostering and stimulating entrepreneurial ethos in those who would not normally have access to many opportunities in life, MR formed the McKinney Rogers Foundation.

Since 2007 this initiative has been sponsoring 12 talented students in East Africa – Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – who, coming from particularly poor backgrounds, are unable to fund higher education, and MR is committed to growing the Foundation and helping more African students reach their potential.
