May: Good morning Dr Fathi, how are you?Dr Fathi: I'm fine, what about you ?

May: I'm ok, but I'll be better if I could do an interview with you.Dr Fathi: ok, but what is it about?

May: it's about the Educational System in Libya.Dr Fathi: What's the purpose of this interview?

May: It's for the second midterm exam in listening and speaking 3.Dr Fathi: Ok.May: Dr, what do you think about the education in Libya?

Dr Fathi: I believe it's suffering of a lot of problems in every era of education (curriculum, building, teaching methods, etc….)May: As you said the education in Libya is suffering, so how we can

improve it?Dr Fathi: We have to restart all over again from t in the scratch, we need to work on a new generation by the help of the current generation.

May: Do you think foreign teachers will contribute to improve the education in Libya ?

Dr Fathi: No (huge no) the current requires that the teachers should be aware of the society that he teach in.

May: As you are a teacher how you can contribute to improve the Educational System?

Dr Fathi: I should apply the current teaching method which is assume the student as the centre of the learning process. This means that teaching and learning focus on the student in every aspect of his or her life including social, academic, psychology and

physical aspects .May: Thank you very much.

MAY: good morning, I am Maymouna Errai I am a student in the fourth semester in Faculty of Education and I want to help me if you don’t mind.Safaa: it's ok ,how can I help you?

May: I want to do an interview with you about the Educational System in Libya, and this is interview is a part of second midterm exam in listening and speaking 3.Safaa: ok, let's start now.

May: what is your name and in which semester you are? Safaa: My name is Safaa Elfazaa, and I am in the seventh semester.

May: wow, so you will finish your study in the next semester ?Safaa: I am not sure, but I wish that.May: OK Safaa, let's start to ask you the questions.Safaa: ok.May: The first question is, what do you think about the education in Libya?

Safaa: Education is suffering whether in the system or in with stuff and from those we can get bad in education.May: Can you explain more about that?

Safaa: ok, we see that the Educational System sometimes is not up to the level of the students I mean the teachers lack the ability to teach, and teachers need to be put in teachers training courses.

May: So as you said that the Educational System is suffering so how we can improve our Education?

Saffa: First of all by improving the surrounding environment such as class rooms and tools. Second, put teachers in training center and give them the knowledge and then

they should give this knowledge to students. May: What do you think about the curriculums?

Safaa: yeah, the ministry of Education need to have close look on textbook in our system and if they need to be changed or even developed.

May: Do you think brining foreign teachers will help to improve our Educational System in Libya?

Saffa: No, because they don’t understand of our society, culture and the students, but we can send teachers abroad to be qualified .

May: I think it's good suggestion, so are you ready to know the last

question?Safaa: Of course you makes me interest to know it.

May: yes because It's for you, as you are a student how can you contribute in getting good Education ?

Safaa: I think to be well behaved in classroom , and open up minds for knowledge and I have to accept the changes .

My Reflection This task is very useful, and I didn’t realize what’s the

importance of it, until I started with the real work, which is doing interviews with 25 students in the faculty. First, I didn’t care about it. Then when I realize that I have to do an interview with 25 students , I started to think about who will be the 25 students. Also if the students are helpful or not, to be honest, I didn’t phase any problem with students, but I phased a problem with myself. When I start to present the presentation I missed every thing, really I didn’t memories any thing , I’m not the girl who keep every word and then say like I kept. In other word, I phased a problem with speech ,I mean I always talk in speedy way. This problem makes a lot of teachers judge that I'm not perfect talkative in English language. However this task is very useful especially in future, because it’s like a life experience and will qualified me for future career, by this way I can practice to be calm an relax.
