Singles at Dayspring - Singles, Etc. Lunches - Each Sunday after the second service, those who want to go out for lunch as a group meet at the restaurant listed below. If you attend first service, please join us! We gather around noon under the name “Dayspring”. May 27 - Red Lobster - NE corner of Ray Road and 54th Street.

UMOM Volunteers - We need volunteers to help with UMOM Homeless Shelter dinners on the following Sundays: June 17, July 8, July 15, Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. You would need to be at the center at 3:30 p.m. to help cook and would be done by shortly after 6:00 p.m. Please contact Carolyn Reid at [email protected] or (602) 882-5292 if you have any questions or would like to volunteer. Thanks so much for your help!

United Methodist Men would like to thank everyone who participated in our Dinner and Song event. It was a great success with over 100 people in attendance. This was the last UMM activity of the spring but plan to be at our Old Time Gospel Music Service on July 29th. UMM also congratulates Rick Drown, our Lee Cook Memorial honoree for 2012. See you in the Fall!

Brown Bag Lunch - Come join us for Brown Bag Lunch every Tuesday at noon. Bring your own lunch and socialize with people from the church. We always have a good time. Come and be a part of this fun group.

Connections is a Dayspring mission that advocates for the intrinsic worth of all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation. It offers

support to and education about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their families. It also hosts the Tempe PFLAG group meeting each first Friday of the month. Our clergy can provide names of “Connections” members for you to contact.

VBS Mission ProjectOur Dayspring Children will be supporting the Shoebox Ministry this year by collecting toiletries that can fit into a shoe box for the local homeless population.
