Outlook for June

Overall, the Torrance residential real estate market reported fairly positive stats for the month of May

with a 27% increase in total sales, a 20.5 % bump in listings, a 5.4% improvement in the sales/listing

ratio, and 4.5% decrease in months of inventory. Even the year-to-year median sales price revealed a

3% increase or $18K in aggregate appreciation.

“What should you expect in June?” you ask. Aside from unforeseen circumstances it is reasonable to

conclude buyer and seller interest should increase given mortgage money is relatively inexpensive and

summertime is known for a surge in real estate activity.
