Advice – How to Prepare for theTrends Conference

• Review the MWACE website to learn more about the committees and their leadership contacts

• If interested in joining a committee, consider attending a meeting during the conference on Friday, Nov. 21st from 8:00 -9:00AM

• Sign up for one of the employer site visits (college members only!) – 12:30-3:00PM, Thursday, Nov. 20th

• Plan to attend the Employer Colloquium (employers only!) – 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday , Nov. 20th (See slide below for employer comments!)

• Discuss your questions with your MWACE Ambassador• Bring a supply of business cards!!!

Employer Colloquium• November 20th – 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Location – LaSalle

Ballroom• You will have an opportunity to submit topics to discuss

when you register for the Conference. • Mary Scott will speak for about 45 minutes and then Q &

A for 15 minutes. Topic will be: ways for employers to make an impact on campus and sharing of current trends

• A panel discussion to include college and employer reps • Additional questions to ensure conversation is valuable

(i.e. How to get candidates to venture to remote areas, different strategies for attracting the right candidates on campus, and more!)
